Ryland Roars Back to Victory Lane at Antioch

ANTIOCH, Calif. (Apr. 25, 2026) — Fred Ryland of Brentwood scored the victory in the 20-lap Sunoco IMCA Stock Car main event at Antioch Speedway. The reigning champion finished third in the season opener but rebounded by winning both the feature and the eight-lap heat race.

Ryland bolted into the lead at the start ahead of Antioch’s Todd Gomez and Troy Foulger of Oakley. He quickly built a comfortable advantage while Gomez and Foulger battled for second.

The only caution of the race came on lap 19 when fourth-running Jason Robles of Rio Vista slowed. Ryland was strong on the restart and went on to capture his first Sunoco IMCA Stock Car win of 2026 in the EQ Cylinder Heads Southern Region.

Gomez finished second, while Kenneth Robles of Rio Vista made a high move in turn 2 on the final lap to take third from Foulger. Justin Villanueva of Atwater rounded out the top five.

County fair checkers are IMCA first for Connelly

(May 18, 2024) – Antioch Speedway fans were treated to two nights of racing during the annual Contra Costa County Fair with Saturday offered a trio of exciting IMCA sanctioned races. This included the first win for Dylan Connelly in the Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMod main event, Kellen Chadwick in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds and Travis Dutra in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars. Connelly had come close on multiple occasions during the previous two IMCA SportMod seasons. On Saturday, he refused to let any of the yellow flag situations cost him a well-earned win. Connelly took the lead from Kelly Campanile with a turn four pass on the second lap. Jason Ryan Jr. quickly settled into second. Fred Ryland settled into third on the fourth lap but he spun for a lap six yellow flag. Foulger is back on top at Antioch

By Don Martin II ANTIOCH, Calif. (April 2, 2022) – Troy Foulger won the 20-lap IMCA Modified main event Saturday at Antioch Speedway. Most recently the track champion in 2020, he becomes the third different winner of the season at Antioch as he piloted the Bowers Motorsports Modified to the win. Trevor Clymens led a pair of laps with the yellow flag waving twice. Clymens led Foulger on the lap three restart but a low pass in turn two a lap later gained Foulger the lead. Kellen Chadwick went low in on lap five to take second with Nick DeCarlo quickly striking to third. Foulger had a straightaway advantage by lap 10 as DeCarlo battled Chadwick to take second. Chadwick, Fraser, Robles come back for seconds at Antioch

By Don Martin II ANTIOCH, Calif. (May 7, 2022) – Kellen Chadwick won the 20-lap Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main event Saturday at Antioch Speedway. This was the second win of the season for Chadwick. Sean Wilson led the opening lap ahead of Bobby Motts Jr. before the yellow flag waved. On the restart, Terry DeCarlo Jr. made an impressive maneuver on the outside to gain the lead with brother Nick DeCarlo following him into second. DeCarlo Jr. led his younger brother on a lap three restart with Chadwick settling into third. Following the next yellow, DeCarlo Jr continued to lead with Chadwick moving into second on the lap six restart. Chadwick ultimately made an inside move on the backstretch on lap 17 to take over. Corn Belt Clash Returns for Memorial Day Weekend Tripleheader

By Ben Deatherage VINTON, Iowa (Apr. 28, 2026) — The Corn Belt Clash returns for three straight nights of Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lite action over Memorial Day weekend, with stops at three of Iowa’s premier facilities. The tripleheader kicks off Friday, May 22 at Marshalltown Speedway, continues Saturday, May 23 at Boone Speedway, and wraps up Sunday, May 24 at Stuart Speedway. Drivers will compete for $500 to win each night with $100 to start, as the series again offers strong payouts across all three events. Warner Wins Wild Hobby Stock Finish at Central Arizona

Warner had Joe Peterson, Steve Bitting Jr., Anthony Madrid, Joel Magee, and Charles McDaniel III all breathing down his neck. Contact in lapped traffic on lap 18 sent Peterson to the hot pits with a flat tire. On the restart, Charles McDaniel Jr. broke and took teammate Tanner Benson into the wall. Peck Pounces Late to Win Park Jefferson Stock Car Feature

(Apr. 24, 2026) — Friday night racing at Park Jefferson Speedway saw the Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars steal the show for the third straight week, and this time it was Sioux City, Iowa’s Greg Peck who made the winning move when it mattered most. Mike Vondrak paced much of the 18-lap main event, just as he had the week before, but was under constant pressure from a pack of drivers racing two- and three-wide behind him. Peck, who started sixth, methodically worked his way forward before making a late-race pass to score his first win of 2026 in the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region.
