VINTON, Iowa – Extra money is on the line for the potential winner of the main event for IMCA Sunoco Late Models this Saturday at McCool Junction. The next installment of the $250 Sunoco Race Fuels bonus will be paid to the August 28 Late Model winner at Junction Motor Speedway. Sunoco bonuses will be presented at IMCA Late Model sanctioned tracks in 2021. Drivers are eligible for one bonus during the racing season. Winners so far this year have been Matt Ryan at 300 Raceway in Farley, followed by Sean Johnson at Independence Motor Speedway, Andy Eckrich at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Ron Klein at Dubuque Speedway, Kyle Prauner at U.S. 30 Speedway in Columbus, Chase Osborne at Boone County Raceway in Albion, Brock Carlson at Off Road Speedway in Norfolk, Dave Eckrich at Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, Justin Kay at Davenport Speedway, and most recently Kale Kosiski last Saturday night at Shelby County Speedway in Harlan. IMCA will announce mid-week before the dates bonuses are to be awarded at each track.

IMCA Sunoco Late Models chase a top $1,000 check that evening, with IMCA Modifieds running for $775 to win, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars for $675, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods for $525, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $500 and Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $200. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Jet Racing Central, EQ Cylinder Heads Northern and Big Daddy Race Cars Northern region, and KMJ Performance State points will be awarded. Entry fee is $100 for Late Models, $70 for Modifieds, $60 for Stock Cars, $50 for SportMods, $40 for Hobby Stocks and $20 for Sport Compacts. Pre-registration is due by March 29.
