Dirt Dominator, Texas Big 4 slated at Grayson County

BELLS, Texas – Drivers in three IMCA divisions have two opportunities to win $1,000 during the Dirt Dominator Texas Big 4 Weekend at Grayson County Speedway.

IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods vie in $1,000 to win IMCA.TV Dirt Dominator king of the hill-type competition following the Thurs­day, Oct. 31 practice session.

Qualifying is Friday, Nov. 1 at Bells with last-chance races and $1,000 to win, minimum $250 to start main events for the same divisions on Saturday, Nov. 2. The Modified feature is a qualifier for the 2020 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. 

There is a $50 entry fee for all divisions.

Gates open at 3 p.m. and the Thursday practice starts at 6 p.m. Pit passes are $20, grandstand admission is free and there will be candy for kids celebrating Halloween at Grayson County plus the announcer challenge race.

Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. both days. Music by Armadillo Mudflaps follows the Friday program. 

Spectator admission is $15 for adults, $10 for students ages 8 and under and seniors 65 and over, and free for kids 42 inches tall and under. Pit passes are $35 both Friday and Saturday.

Registration opens today for All Star Shootout fueled by IMCA.TV

ARDMORE, Okla. (April 25, 2023) – Three IMCA divisions take to the track on five consecutive nights in the upcoming All Star Shootout fueled by IMCA.TV.  Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds race for $1,000 to win, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Smiley’s Racing Products IMCA Southern SportMods both for $750 to win beginning Wednesday, May 24 at Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore.  The third annual tour then travels to Texas, for shows on Thursday, May 25 at Grayson County Speedway in Bells; Friday, May 26 at Boyd Raceway; Saturday, May 27 at Kennedale Speedway Park; and Sunday, May 28 at Heart O’ Texas Speedway in Waco. Early entries top 120 for IMCA All Star Shootout

ARDMORE, Okla. (May 24, 2022) – Early entries top 120 as all stars in three IMCA divisions will see action each night of the May 25-29 All Star Shootout. Wojtek rings up IMCA Modified win In Red River Tour show at Bells

BELLS, Texas (July 2) – Fred Wojtek felt right at home Thursday night, on a track he’d only raced at once before.  Wojtek started on the pole and led start to finish in the Red River South Tour feature for IMCA Modifieds at Grayson County Speedway. He earned $1,000 and a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot berth for the victory, which came ahead of Chris Elliott and 12th starting Cody Leonard. “I watched a couple races before and set up the car for the bottom. I had a feeling Chris would run the top. That’s where he won the tour race a couple years ago,” explained Wojtek, who’d run fifth that night, in his one previous outing at Bells.
