Parmeley prevails at Canyon

PEORIA, Ariz. (April 1) – John Parmeley pulled off the sweep in the Leading Edge IMCA Modifieds Saturday at Canyon Speedway Park, winning his heat race before driving from his sixth starting spot to take the feature win.

Parmeley declared himself as the car to beat early on, making his way around leader K.C. Dieckman and driving away from the field. Parmeley held the large advantage through numerous cautions until Jason Noll found himself behind the leader on a restart.

Parmeley and Noll escaped the fray with only a handful of laps to go to battle it out for the win. Noll made the first mistake coming to the white flag, allowing Parmeley to get away with the win. Noll held on for second with Zachary Madrid, Chaz Baca Jr. and Bubba Stafford rounding out the top five.

Speedy Madrid wound up with the Arizona Differential IMCA Northern SportMod victory after the apparent winner failed post-race tech.

Canyon’s Harvest Hustle special set for Nov. 29-30

PEORIA, Ariz. – IMCA Modifieds race for $1,250 to win, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods for $1,000 to win both nights of Canyon Speedway Park’s Friday and Saturday, Nov. 29-30 Harvest Hustle. The Modified features are Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying events. Pill draw each night is $50 for Modifieds and $40 for Northern SportMods. Gates open at 5 p.m. and racing starts at 6 p.m. on Friday. Gates open at 4 p.m. with the first green flag at 5 p.m. on Saturday. Spectator admission is $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and military and free for kids 11 and under. Pit passes are $35 for adults, $20 for kids ages seven to 11 and free for six and under. Canyon hosts IMCA Harvest Hustle over Thanksgiving Weekend

PEORIA, Ariz. – IMCA Modifieds and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods are on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 23 and 24 Harvest Hustle cards at Canyon Speedway Park. Modifieds race for $750 to win on Friday and for $1,500 to win in their Saturday Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying main event. SportMods chase top checks of $500 on Friday and $1,000 on Saturday. Entry fees for both divisions are $25 each night. Pit passes are $35 for adults, $20 for kids ages 7-11 and free for six and under. All minors must have a signed and notarized release form on file to get into the pit area. Spectator admission is $20 for adults, $15 for seniors 60 and over and military, and free for kids 11 and under. Pits will be cleared at 4 p.m. and the grandstands open at 5 p.m. both days. IMCA Modified features get top billing for Canyon’s holiday weekend show

PEORIA, Ariz. (Aug. 27) – A pair of $1,000 to win IMCA Modified features are on the docket for Canyon Speedway Park’s Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 1 and 2 Labor Day Weekend special. Both 25-lap events are qualifiers for the 2019 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot and pay a minimum of $100 to start. Entry fee each night is $25. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars race 20 laps for $500 to win with a $20 entry fee on Saturday while Sunday’s 100-lap marathon pays $1,000 to win and has a $50 entry fee. Czarneski Snaps Berry’s Streak with Win at Jamestown; Berry Claims Third Dakota Tour Crown

(July 10, 2026) — Cole Czarneski denied Tom Berry Jr. a perfect Dakota Classic Modified Tour powered by Industrial Electric, leading all 30 laps Friday night at Jamestown Speedway to earn his first career Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified tour victory. While Berry settled for second after winning the previous four rounds, the Marshalltown, Iowa, driver wrapped up his third career Dakota Tour championship after another dominant week. The 2024 Wisconsin State champion from Denmark, Wisconsin, jumped to the lead at the drop of the green and immediately established himself as the driver to beat. A caution on lap six erased his early advantage, but Czarneski quickly rebuilt his lead after the restart. Dubuque Fair Week Specials Put IMCA Modifieds in Fast Shafts Spotlight

By Ben Deatherage DUBUQUE, Iowa (July 10, 2026) — Dubuque Fairgrounds Speedway will feature a pair of IMCA specials during Dubuque County Fair week, with Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds taking center stage in Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational qualifiers on Wednesday, July 29, and Sunday, Aug. 2. The Wednesday, July 29 program features Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds racing for $2,000 to win. Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks will also be in action, competing for a $1,000 top prize.
