Parmeley prevails at Canyon

PEORIA, Ariz. (April 1) – John Parmeley pulled off the sweep in the Leading Edge IMCA Modifieds Saturday at Canyon Speedway Park, winning his heat race before driving from his sixth starting spot to take the feature win.

Parmeley declared himself as the car to beat early on, making his way around leader K.C. Dieckman and driving away from the field. Parmeley held the large advantage through numerous cautions until Jason Noll found himself behind the leader on a restart.

Parmeley and Noll escaped the fray with only a handful of laps to go to battle it out for the win. Noll made the first mistake coming to the white flag, allowing Parmeley to get away with the win. Noll held on for second with Zachary Madrid, Chaz Baca Jr. and Bubba Stafford rounding out the top five.

Speedy Madrid wound up with the Arizona Differential IMCA Northern SportMod victory after the apparent winner failed post-race tech.

Baca, Noll notch Winter Challenge wins while Duggins is double winner at Canyon

(Feb 1-2) – Chaz Baca raced to his second Winter Challenge feature win Saturday while at Canyon Speedway Park while Jason Noll took home the Sunday IMCA Modified checkers. Both main events at Peoria paid $1,250 to the winners and both Baca and Noll were already Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot candidates. Alex Stanford looked to have the opener in hand before Baca made a late challenge for the lead. Baca closed a large gap, making his move in turn one after the white flag flew to the inside of Stanford. As the leaders raced off turn two, Baca edged ahead on his way to take home the trophy for the second time in as many weeks. Stanford was second, ahead of Ryan Roath. Justen Yeager paced the Sunday show, battling hard through traffic until Noll drove inside and took hold of the top spot as lap 17 came to a close. Four race dates in Canyon’s IMCA Winter Challenge

PEORIA, Ariz. – Four IMCA divisions race all four dates in the 2020 Winter Challenge at Canyon Speedway Park. IMCA Modifieds run for $1,250 to win and a minimum of $125 to start Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying features on Saturdays and Sundays Jan. 25-26 and Feb. 1-2. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods both vie for $1,000 to win and a minimum of $100 to start. IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks run for $500 to win and a minimum of $75 to start. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and E3 Spark Plugs State points will be awarded. Pill draws are $50 for Modifieds, $40 for Stocks and SportMods, and $30 for Hobbies. Canyon hosts IMCA Harvest Hustle over Thanksgiving Weekend

PEORIA, Ariz. – IMCA Modifieds and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods are on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 23 and 24 Harvest Hustle cards at Canyon Speedway Park. Modifieds race for $750 to win on Friday and for $1,500 to win in their Saturday Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying main event. SportMods chase top checks of $500 on Friday and $1,000 on Saturday. Entry fees for both divisions are $25 each night. Pit passes are $35 for adults, $20 for kids ages 7-11 and free for six and under. All minors must have a signed and notarized release form on file to get into the pit area. Spectator admission is $20 for adults, $15 for seniors 60 and over and military, and free for kids 11 and under. Pits will be cleared at 4 p.m. and the grandstands open at 5 p.m. both days. Weaver Breaks Through with First Port Royal Sprint Car Victory

(May 2, 2026) — Lock Haven’s Jeff Weaver completed a steady climb to the top at Port Royal Speedway Saturday night, earning his first River Valley Builders PA Sprint Series feature win at “The Speed Palace” against a strong field of 47 RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Cars. Weaver, who has shown speed throughout the season with two heat race wins and a B-Main victory, finally converted that pace into a feature triumph. Starting up front, he led all 20 laps and crossed the line 1.678 seconds ahead of Timmy Bittner of Beech Creek. After beginning his PASS career in 2018, Weaver spent his early seasons competing primarily at smaller tracks, earning a win at Path Valley Speedway in 2020. Pounds Powers to Bakersfield Modified Win

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (May 2, 2026) — Bakersfield’s Brad Pounds advanced from the fourth starting position to capture the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature Saturday at Bakersfield Speedway at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway. Pounds worked his way to the front and went on to secure his first win of the season in the DeVilbiss Racing Chassis Western Region. Tyler Bannister gained five positions to finish second, while pole sitter Markus Frazier held on for third. Bryan Clark and Brad Watkins completed the top five. Ethan Johnson, also of Bakersfield, scored his first career win in Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMod competition with a strong drive from third. Logue’s Last-Lap Pass and Gustin’s Three-Peat Highlight Boone Stock Car Wins

By Jane Burd BOONE, Iowa (May 2, 2026) — A packed night of racing at Boone Speedway delivered multiple features and standout performances across several Speedway Motors IMCA Weekly divisions, highlighted by a dramatic late-race move in Sunoco IMCA Stock Car action. The second Stock Car feature proved to be the race of the night, as Johnathon Logue of Logansport charged from fifth and made a last-lap pass at the line to steal the win from Garrett Corn, who had led nearly the entire distance.
