VINTON, Iowa (July 27, 2026) — Late June and July competition added 16 new drivers to the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car eligibility list for the B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Stock Car Invitational, while already eligible drivers continued to add to their qualifying win totals. Summer racing reached full stride with touring series, marquee specials, and weekly programs producing qualifying events throughout the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern and Southern regions.
Drivers become eligible by winning Speedway Motors IMCA-sanctioned events paying $1,000 or more to win, earning the opportunity to qualify for the B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Stock Car Invitational, held during the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s in September at Boone Speedway. Drivers winning qualifying events paying $5,000 or more receive automatic starting positions in the invitational.
Already eligible drivers continued to add to their qualifying win totals throughout late June and July. Braden Richards earned another qualifier during the June 29 Midwest Madness Tour event at Clay County Fair Speedway, while Curt Lund followed with a Midwest Madness Tour victory June 30 at Park Jefferson Speedway. Buck Schafroth captured the Ron Little Memorial at Stuart Speedway on July 2, Shelby Williams scored his first career Dakota Classic Tour victory at Estevan Motor Speedway on July 6, and Cole Czarneski won another qualifier on July 8 at Dacotah Speedway during the Dakota Classic Tour.
Jayce Reimer returned to victory lane July 10 at Salt City Racing, Kelly Shryock collected qualifying wins in the Hobo Hustle Stock Car Shootout at Hancock County Speedway on July 10 and the Salute to Veterans Tour stop at Clay County Fair Speedway on July 22, while Tripp Gaylord added another qualifier in the Tanner Pelster Memorial at Boone County Raceway on July 12. Blake Clark earned his second qualifying victory of the season July 18 at Southern Oklahoma Speedway, Cameron Starry reached double-digit qualifier wins with his Salute to Veterans Tour victory July 23 at Kossuth County Speedway, and Luke Lemmens followed his first qualifying win at Luxy Raceway on July 12 with another victory July 25 at Shawano Speedway.
Sixteen drivers joined the eligibility list during the month. Randy Klein earned his first qualifier June 30 at Norman County Raceway, followed in July by Justin Kinderknecht on July 4 at Salina Speedway, Devin Smith on July 4 at Boone Speedway, Brock Beeter on July 5 during the Dakota Classic Tour at Nodak Speedway, Jonny Carter on July 9 during the Dakota Classic Tour at Dacotah Speedway, Brendan La Batte on July 10 during the Dakota Classic Tour at Jamestown Speedway, Quinton Yutterman on July 10 at WaKeeney Speedway, Eric Mahlik on July 11 at 141 Speedway, Cayden Carter on July 13 in the Joey Hergott Memorial at Beatrice Speedway, John Oliver Jr. on July 16 at Bloomfield Speedway, Andrew Schroeder on July 17 at Bloomfield Speedway, Matt Guillaume on July 18 at Kennedale Speedway Park, Connor Hanson on July 25 at Estevan Motor Speedway, and Jimmy Gustin on July 25 during the Salute to Veterans Tour at Boone Speedway.
R.M. Van Pay, whose July 18 victory in the $10,000-to-win King of the Creek at 141 Speedway automatically locked him into the B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Stock Car Invitational, also joined the eligibility list.
Upcoming qualifying events are scheduled in the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region and EQ Cylinder Heads Southern Region throughout August.
Iowa features qualifying events at Benton County Speedway on August 2 for the Mike Benson & Scott Beauregard Memorial, Kossuth County Speedway on August 6 for the Harken Memorial and again on August 13, Hancock County Speedway on August 14, Marshalltown Speedway on August 18, Maquoketa Speedway on August 21 and 22, and Boone Speedway for the Watermelon Classic on August 29.
Minnesota hosts qualifiers at Murray County Speedway on August 14 and Worthington Speedway on August 15.
North Dakota features the Coal County Classic at McLean County Speedway on August 7 and 8, while Nodak Speedway hosts the Ole Olson Memorial on August 9.
South Dakota hosts the Donald Green Tribute at Park Jefferson Speedway on August 7.
Wisconsin features qualifying events at 141 Speedway on August 1 and Shawano Speedway on August 8.
Kansas hosts qualifiers at Rooks County Speedway on August 7 and Salt City Racing on August 21.
The lone EQ Cylinder Heads Southern Region qualifier is scheduled for Aztec Speedway in New Mexico on August 1.
