Clemens Sweeps Fastest in the Falls at Electric City

GREAT FALLS, Mont. (July 4, 2026) — The fifth annual Fastest in the Falls brought two nights of Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified racing to Electric City Speedway on July 3 and 4, drawing local favorites and drivers from across Montana and beyond.

With a $2,100 payout to the winner each night, there was plenty on the line, but the holiday weekend belonged to Belgrade’s Ty Clemens.

Clemens started second each night and won both 30-lap features, completing a clean sweep of the weekend and collecting the added winner’s money both nights.

On the track Friday, Clemens started second and drove to the win, with Joey Price finishing second and Three Forks driver Jordan Tocci charging from sixth to third. Kolby Hannah finished fourth, and Travis Shumate rounded out the top five.

Saturday brought more of the same from Clemens, who again drew the second starting position and drove to victory in the finale. Behind him, Price raced from ninth to second, while Tyler Leach charged from 10th to third. Tocci finished fourth after starting fifth, and Hannah completed the top five from the third starting position.

The Belgrade driver now owns seven DeVilbiss Racing Chassis Western Region victories this season, with six of those coming at Electric City Speedway.

Both Fastest in the Falls features were Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational qualifiers, and Clemens’ victories earned him eligibility to attempt to qualify for the Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational during the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s in September.

Feller is IMCA Modified king at Electric City

(June 1, 2024) – Electric City Speedway had another stellar installment to their 2024 IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing slate with 20 Friesen Performance IMCA Modified entries on hand for Saturday’s show. Rex Feller skillfully maneuvered around front row starters John Price and Patrick La Mere, surging ahead to a significant lead within the first few laps and setting the stage for what proved to be a fiercely competitive race. As Feller held onto his lead, the race intensified into a thrilling pursuit. Kaycie Kynett steadily closed the gap but was unable to find a way past the leader. Leach Charges From Sixth for Electric City Modified Victory

(June 6, 2026) — Seventeen-year-old Tyler Leach overcame a sixth-place starting position and a series of restarts to score the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature victory Saturday night at Electric City Speedway. The Sun River driver methodically worked his way through the field in the 20-lap main event and completed a sweep of the evening after also winning his heat race. Early restart sparks Craver at Electric City

By Ben Deatherage GREAT FALLS, Mont. (May 18, 2024) – Electric City Speedway fired things back up on Saturday night, with a thriller of a Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main event. Devon Jadwin set the tone, leading early before a lap three restart resulting from what proved to be from the feature’s lone caution bunched the field up. This allowed Cory Craver to propel himself to the top position, setting the stage for a thrilling battle. While Craver started to waltz away from the rest of the pack, Jadwin, last week’s winner Tyler Leach and Cody Kuglin fought over second. Under the green flag racing conditions, Craver found his rhythm on the high side of the track. Jadwin held off Leach and Kuglin but a new challenger emerged in the form of Kolby Hannah for the runner-up position. Looft Has Successful Independence Day at Arlington

(July 4, 2026) — Matthew Looft enjoyed a successful Independence Day at Arlington Raceway, charging from 12th to win the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature before rallying from fourth to capture the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified main event. The Swea City, Iowa, driver earned his second EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region victory of the season in the Stock Cars and later added his second Razor Chassis North Central Region triumph of 2026 in the Modifieds. All four of those wins have come at Arlington Raceway. Josh Larsen paced the opening laps of the Stock Car feature with A.J. Zimmerman in tow. As Larsen and Zimmerman battled up front, Dan Mackenthun and Looft steadily worked the bottom groove from mid-pack. McBirnie Charges From 11th for Boone Modified Victory

By Jane Burd BOONE, Iowa (July 4, 2026) — Jake McBirnie sliced through the field from the 11th starting position to capture the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature Saturday night at Boone Speedway, earning his second Razor Chassis North Central Region victory of the season at two different tracks. Chaz Baca Jr. paced the opening 11 circuits after taking the lead at the drop of the green before McBirnie arrived at the front on lap 12.
