Legends, A.I.R.S. join IMCA Weekly Racing program this Sunday at Benton County

VINTON, Iowa (July 5, 2023) – Although Santa doesn’t arrive for another few months, kids in attendance will have some mid-summer Christmas cheer this Sunday at Benton County Speedway. Kids’ Christmas in July is on tap July 9 and will feature kids’ power wheel races, plus a number of prize giveaways for the youth in attendance. The IMCA Weekly Racing season continues Sunday night in all divisions, as well. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds presented by Beaty Excavating, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars presented by Christie Door Company, Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods presented by Houdek Auto Center, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks presented by Vermedahl Trucking, Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts presented by iHeart Radio and INEX Legends presented by Legends.Direct are set to return to action July 9. VINTON, Iowa (April 25, 2022) – Opening night is taking on a “super” look at Benton County Speedway. After wet weather forced the delay of Sunday’s season opener, IMCA Sunoco Late Models will join the show Sunday, May 1 for the first Super Sunday event of the season at The Bullring. In the first of two appearances for the division this season, Late Models will vie for a $1,000 winner’s share Sunday night. Opening night action will also feature the six weekly divisions, including the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds presented by 96.5 KISS Country, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks presented by Kwik Star, Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods presented by Christie Door Company, Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts and Legends.Direct Legends. VINTON, Iowa (Aug. 10, 2022) – There’s something for everyone this Sunday at Benton County Speedway. Due to last week’s postponed event, the August 14 racing program at The Bullring is going to be chock full of excitement as the season enters its final weeks. The Bald Tire Bash, paying $2,000 to the winner of the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature, will headline on-track action Sunday night. All competitors must use tires with a maximum tread depth of 5/32”. The Stock Car winner also earns B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility.  Sunday’s Stock Car feature pays $200 to start. There is no entry fee. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds will pay $1,000 to the winner and earn that driver Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility.  Modifieds and Stock Cars will be draw/redraw and running for IMCA state, regional and national points only.
