Arlington puts wraps on 2023 season with annual awards banquet

ARLINGTON, Minn. (Aug. 17) – Brad Becker has tried weekly to unseat Eckblad Trucking IMCA Hobby Stock foe Cory Probst in victory lane and finally got the job done Saturday at Arlington Raceway. Becker started seventh and took the lead from Scott Koep on the fourth lap in the flag-to-flag race. Koep maintained second throughout the race with Luke Trebelhorn third and Probst following in fourth.  Justin Dose was first across the line in the Coors Light IMCA Sport Compact feature to win ahead of Alex Dostal and pick up his first trophy of the year.  Jeremy Schultz led the entire Alpha Media IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car feature flag to flag to win his first race of the year.  Brandon Beckendorf won the MN 93 IMCA Modified feature, Dean Cornelius paced the B&B Rac­ing Chassis IMCA Stock Car main and Matthew Looft collected the Unhinged Pizza IMCA North­ern SportMod checkers. 

ARLINGTON, Minn. (June 20) – Jeff Carter was on a tear from the start of Saturday’s opening night Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod feature at Arlington Raceway. Carter got a great start from the second row and was in the lead by the first turn. Despite numer­ous stoppages, he held onto the top spot throughout to win his first feature of the year. Eric Lar­son tried to catch him but had to contend with the fast-moving Kris Zuhlsdorf and settled for se­cond. Clint Hatlestad raced to IMCA Modified career win number 99 and Brandon Allen led the distance in the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car feature.  Brent Uecker was the third and final leader in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car main. Cory Probst led from the fourth lap to the finish of the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock headliner. Getting the best of a very fast field of Mach-1 Sport Compacts was R.J. Esqueda. ARLINGTON, Minn. (Aug. 14) – Rookie Hannah Graf put her IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car in victory lane for her first career win Saturday at Arlington Raceway.  Graf led from start to finish from her front row start. A first lap yellow flag came out when Bruce Allen spun off the track in turn three. The cars realigned and Graf took off again, this time with her uncle Chris following her around the track.  Halfway through the race another caution was thrown when Justin Allen spun out. On this restart, Brett Allen took the high side while others were taking the bottom of the track and passed five cars to compete with the leader.  The following lap, coming out of turn two, Graf had control of the front spot and Allen ran out of room, causing him to spin out putting him to the back of the field. With four laps to go, Hannah Graf led the rest of the way to take the victory. Chris Graf took second and Trevor Serbus started 13th and finished third.  [Read More]
