Speedway Motors marks 45th, 30th years of IMCA, Super Nationals sponsor support

LINCOLN, Neb. (Feb. 28, 2024) IMCA is excited to announce Speedway Motors has once again signed on as a sponsor for the 2024 season.

This season marks Speedway Motors’ 45th year as an IMCA sponsor and 30th year as title sponsor of the IMCA Super Nationals, the premier event in dirt track racing.

“Our roots are in racing. We have participated with IMCA for over 70 years, and we’ve been honored to sponsor IMCA for 45 consecutive years,” said Speedway Motors President and owner Clay Smith. “We are proud to continue our support of IMCA and racers in all nine IMCA divisions as they build their dreams throughout 2024 while keeping racing safe, fun and affordable for many years to come.”

Many racers turn to Speedway Motors for their IMCA parts specified by the sanctioning body including IMCA upper control arms for GM Metric Stock Cars and Dart IMCA heads available bare of assembled for Hobby Stock, SportMod or Stock Car divisions.

“Speedway Motors is our longest tenured sponsor and it’s another neat milestone that this is the 30th year they’ll be title sponsor for Super Nationals,” noted IMCA Director of Marketing Integration and Sponsorship Carson Becker-Gramm. “They’ve been the ideal marketing partner and ultimately the people who have benefitted the most are IMCA drivers and promoters.”

Among the weekly competitors in line for Speedway Motors awards again this season are rookie drivers in all divisions winning IMCA career-first features, who receive $100 gift certificates; and Modified, Stock Car and Hobby Stock regional champions and Northern SportMod and Southern SportMod national champions, each of whom get sets of four TruCoil springs.

National champions, the Junior National Champion and Lady Eagle winner all receive helmets and $50 gift cards from Speedway Motors.

The upcoming Super Nationals marks Speedway Motors’ second as title sponsor of Manufacturers’ Row at Boone Speedway. The 41st annual event brought a record 1,017 entries to Iowa’s Action Track last September.

Champions at Super Nationals, RaceSaver Nationals and the Southern SportMod Super Nationals all receive custom jackets and helmet bags courtesy of Speedway Motors’ dirt track parts division; $100 gift certificates go to highest finishing first-time qualifiers and $100 value packs to top non-qualifiers in each division at Super Nationals.

2024 is also Speedway Motors’ 17th season as title sponsor of IMCA Weekly Racing, helping 200-plus tracks in the United States and Canada defray the myriad of costs associated with sanctioned regular and special events.

“We are fortunate that our champions will be recognized, and many of these awards were presented during the national banquet in Lincoln in late November,” Becker-Gramm added. “As always, we are grateful that the champions’ reception will be held that weekend at the Museum of American Speed, located on the Speedway Motors campus.”
