NAPA Racing Fan Zone hosts busy slate off-track Super Nationals activities

BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 1, 2023) – The NAPA Racing Fan Zone will be the hub of off-track activities throughout the week of the 41stannual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.

Nu­merous events will be held at the Fan Zone, located south of the main grandstand at Boone Speedway, beginning during the Sunday, Sept. 3 Wild Rose Casino Double Down Prelude and each day of Super Nationals Sept. 4-9.

“The NAPA Racing Fan Zone will be the place to be to get close-up looks, an autograph or maybe even a selfie with your favorite driver,” said IMCA Marketing Integration and Sponsorship Director Carson Becker-Gramm.

“We’ll have cars on display, interviews with race winners and some other fun stuff throughout the week,” he added, noting the fan-favorite cornhole redraws for Saturday night Modified and Stock Car main events. “Something else we’ll do different is recognize come of the drivers receiving contingency awards at the Fan Zone.” 

Victory lane and top four podium pictures for all divisions, and the Saturday night champions’ group photo will be taken at the Fan Zone.

Daily Fan Zone schedules will be posted on the IMCA website and Facebook page as times are confirmed.

Regular announcements will also be made during each day’s race program to keep fans at Boone Speedway abreast with what’s going on and when in the Fan Zone.

“We’ve really been able to take the Fan Zone to a different level with the help of NAPA,” also official parts supplier of IMCA and Super Nationals, said Becker-Gramm. “I encourage fans who will be at the track to be part of as many activities there as possible and remind the fans watching from home that most of them will be part of the IMCA.TV broadcast.”

Days don’t get better than this: Logue sweeps RoC, Super Nationals SportMod main event

BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 13) – When Johnathon Logue woke up Sunday morning, his first thought was that it was going to be a good day. He just had no idea how good. VINTON, Iowa – Another 16 IMCA Modified drivers are newly eligible for Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying. Hank Berry and Travis Hagen were Can-Am Shootout winners at Williston Basin Speedway. Zane DeVilbiss swept the Wild West Tour weekend at Desert Thunder Raceway and Jesse Glenz topped the Land of Ten Thousand Lakes 10K at Princeton Speedway. Bricen James was first to the checkers in the Dakota Classic Tour finale at Dacotah Speedway while Benji LaCrosse landed the big win at The ‘Burg Speedway’s Eric Van Iten Memorial. Record 1,004 pre-entries for 40th annual IMCA Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 2, 2022) – The records continue to fall before the first green flag of the 40th annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s even waves. The number of drivers pre-entered hit 1,004 Friday morning, 82 more than the previous mark set last year. 2022 entries come from a record 29 states and four Canadian provinces. “Super Nationals has been the biggest event not only in IMCA but in all of dirt track racing for much of its history,” said IMCA President Brett Root. “We are honored that so many drivers want to be part of the 40th annual event.
