Another seven drivers score B & B All-Star eligibility

VINTON, Iowa (Aug. 24, 2023) – One driver is now guaranteed to start the B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational while another seven are newly eligible qualify for the Stock Car special during the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.

Jordan Grabouski earned a spot on the starting grid with his $5,100 checkers at Thayer County Speedway’s Remington Elting Memorial.

Fair night winners were Donavon Smith at Kossuth County Speedway and Chris Palsrok at Murray County Speedway.

Monday Night Madness checkers flew at Independence Motor Speedway for Tom Schmitt. Heath Tulp topped Night of 10,000 Stars at Hancock County Speedway.

Jeremy Christians was a weekly winner at Beaver Dam Raceway, David Smith was best at Boone Speedway’s Watermelon Classic and Randy Smith Jr. paced US 36’s Doyle Lance Memorial.

Other winners already eligible included Tathan Burkhart, Tommy Fain, Grabouski, Damon Murty and Dylan Thornton.

Three Memorial Weekend Cornbelt Clash dates for IMCA STARS Mod Lites

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa – Memorial Weekend Cornbelt Clash dates take IMCA STARS Mod Lites to Marshalltown Speedway, Boone Speedway and Stuart Speedway for $500 to win features each night. A minimum of $100 will be paid to start each May 28, 29 and 30 feature with a $30 entry fee each night.  Marshalltown opens the gates at 5:15 p.m. with racing at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Gates at Boone open at 3:30 p.m. and Saturday racing starts at 6 p.m. and on Sunday, gates at Stuart open at 5 p.m. and racing follows 7 p.m. hot laps.  The Yoshimura bonus will be paid on Sunday, with $250 going to the winner, $150 to the runner-up and $100 to the third place driver. The driver racing all three nights and finishing with the top point total also takes home $100 in cash. Other awards will be given by Hoosier Tire and Rod End Supply. IMCA Modified, Stock Car All-Star ballot berths at stake Saturday at Boone Speedway

BOONE, Iowa – IMCA Modifieds race for $3,000 to win and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars for $1,000 to win, with All-Star Invitational ballot berths at stake for both divisions this Saturday at Boone Speedway. The May 1 Hawkeye 100 program also features a $1,000 feature for Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods. Pit passes are $45 and adult admission to the grandstand is $40. Pit gates open at 3 p.m. Hot laps are at 5:30 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m.
