COLUMBUS, Neb. (July 19, 2023) – Division title sponsor Sunoco Race Fuels awards $250 bonuses at two upcoming IMCA Late Model race nights, Thursday at US 30 Speedway and Sunday at East Moline Speedway.
The July 20 show at Columbus, Neb., was postponed following a rainout last week.
Drivers can receive the bonus one time in a season so the $250 would be given to the top finishing non-winning driver any night the winner has already earned the bonus at another track.
Gates open at 5 p.m. at Columbus, where hot laps are at 7:15 p.m. and racing follows. At East Moline, Ill., on July 23, pit gates open at 2:30 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 3:30 p.m. Hot laps at 4:30 p.m. precede the first green flag.
Pit passes are $30 both nights and $15 for kids 12 and under at East Moline.
Late Models will be joined each evening by IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars have a $2,000 to win Governor’s Cup show presented by Charger Chassis at Columbus where grandstand admission is $18; Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds and Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lites complete the card at East Moline.
Sunoco bonus recipients so far this season include Jake Bridge, Micah Brown, Curt Martin, Luke Merfeld, Jacob Kubicka, Eric Pollard, Alex Banks and Cade Richards.
