Edelbrock begins 26th season of IMCA claim engine driver support 

OLIVE BRANCH, Miss. (May 16, 2023) – The proven performance of Edelbrock pays off again this season for IMCA drivers in five divisions who compete with claim engines.

The Olive Branch, Miss., high performance parts manufacturer and distributor returns for a 26th year of sponsorship and gives a combination of product and product certificate awards to eligible Friesen Performance IMCA Modified, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock, Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMod and Smiley’s Racing Products IMCA Southern SportMod competitors.

“Heading into our 26th year with IMCA shows our commitment to the program,” observed Edelbrock Group Contingency Coordinator Billy Carroll, “and our support for the thousands of IMCA grassroots racers competing across the country and in Canada.”

The highest finishing claim engine competitor in each of the five regions for Modifieds earns a 2975 Victor Jr. intake while champions in both Stock Car regions, the top claim engine drivers in both Hobby Stock regions and in Northern and Southern SportMod national standings receive 2701, 2176 or 7121 intakes.

$50 product certificates go to second through fifth place claim engine drivers in each Modified, Stock Car and Hobby Stock region, and to second through fifth place claim engine drivers in national point standings for both Northern and Southern SportMods.

Modified and Stock Car regional rookies of the year each receive $25 product certificates.

Edelbrock gives a 2975 Victor Jr. intake to the highest finishing claim engine driver and a Victor Series water pump to the Modified champion at the Sept. 4-9 IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. The Stock Car champion and highest finishing Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod main event finishers earn 2701, 7121 or 2176 intakes.

And Super Nationals Modified, Stock Car, Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod race of champions winners all get $100 product certificates.

Edelbrock also returns to the national decal program for Stock Cars and drivers in that division must display two Edelbrock decals to make themselves eligible for national and regional point fund shares.
