Edelbrock marks 25th sponsorship season with support of IMCA claim engine drivers

OLIVE BRANCH, Miss. (April 12, 2022) – Edelbrock marks its silver anniversary season of IMCA support in 2022, continuing a popular awards program for drivers in five divisions competing with claim engines. 

Eligible IMCA Modified, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock, IMCA Northern SportMod and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMod drivers receive a combination of product and product certificate awards from the 25-year sponsor. 

“IMCA allows us to connect directly with the grassroots racer and celebrating our 25th year of being their partner shows just how important both of them are to the Edelbrock Group,” said Contingency Coordinator Billy Carroll. 

Edelbrock gives 2975 Victor Jr. intakes to highest finishing claim engine drivers in each of the five Modified regions and 2701, 7121 or 2176 intakes to champions in both Stock Car regions, the top claim engine drivers in both Hobby Stock regions and in Northern and Southern SportMod national standings.     

Gift certificates valued at $50 go to second through fifth place claim engine drivers in each of the Modified, Stock Car and Hobby Stock regions, and to second through fifth place claim engine drivers in national point standings for both Northern and Southern SportMods.

Modified and Stock Car rookies of the year receive $25 product certificates. 

The highest finishing claim engine driver in the Modified main event at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s receives a 2975 Victor Jr. intake; the Modified champion gets a Victor Series water pump. The Stock Car champion and highest finishing Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod main event finishers earn 2701, 7121 or 2176 intakes.

Super Nationals Modified, Stock Car, Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod race of champions winners all get $100 Edelbrock product certificates.

The Olive Branch, Miss., high performance parts manufacturer and distributor also returns to the national decal program for Stock Cars.
