Edelbrock continues IMCA claim engine driver support for 24th season

OLIVE BRANCH, Miss. – Edelbrock nears a quarter century of support, renewing a rich program of post-season awards for drivers competing with claim engines in five IMCA divisions.

The 24-year sponsor again gives a combination of product and product certificate awards to IMCA Modified, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMod competitors. 

Edelbrock gives 2975 Victor Jr. intakes to highest finishing claim engine drivers in each of the five Modified regions and 2701, 7121 or 2176 intakes to both Stock Car regional champions.

Top claim engine drivers in the two Hobby Stock regions and in Northern and Southern SportMod national standings also receive their choice of 2701, 7121 or 2176 intakes.

Gift certificates valued at $50 go to second through fifth place claim engine drivers in each of the Modified, Stock Car and Hobby Stock regions, and to second through fifth place claim engine drivers in national point standings for both Northern and Southern SportMods.

Regional Modified and Stock Car rookies of the year all receive $25 product certificates.

The high performance parts manufacturer and distributor also returns to the national decal program for Stock Cars and drivers in that division must display the Edelbrock logo on their race car to be eligible for national and regional point fund shares.

The highest finishing claim engine driver in the Modified main event at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s receives a 2975 Victor Jr. intake; the Modified champion gets a Victor Series water pump  while the Stock Car champion and highest finishing Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod main event finishers earn 2701, 7121 or 2176 intakes. 

Modified, Stock Car, Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod race of champions winners all get $100 Edelbrock product certificates.
