Registration opens today for All Star Shootout fueled by IMCA.TV

ARDMORE, Okla. (April 25, 2023) – Three IMCA divisions take to the track on five consecutive nights in the upcoming All Star Shootout fueled by IMCA.TV. 

Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds race for $1,000 to win, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Smiley’s Racing Products IMCA Southern SportMods both for $750 to win beginning Wednesday, May 24 at Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore. 

The third annual tour then travels to Texas, for shows on Thursday, May 25 at Grayson County Speedway in Bells; Friday, May 26 at Boyd Raceway; Saturday, May 27 at Kennedale Speedway Park; and Sunday, May 28 at Heart O’ Texas Speedway in Waco.

Bonus money is at stake for Modified drivers winning multiple features during the week: $500 for two wins, $750 for three wins, $1,000 for four wins and $2,000 if they can sweep the tour. 

Pre-entry for the week is $25 in each division and early registration opens today (Tuesday) at 3 p.m. CST on the All Star Shootout page on MyRacePass and on All Star Shootout and IMCA Facebook pages. 

All Modified features are qualifiers for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational and all Stock Car features are qualifiers for the B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational.

In addition, top drivers in Modified and Stock Car point standings for the week become eligible to qualify for their respective race of champions at the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. The Southern SportMod champion becomes eligible to qualify for the ROC at the Southern SportMod Super Nationals at KSP. 

IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, GRT Race Cars South Central and EQ Cylinder Heads Southern region, and Oklahoma or Texas state points will be awarded each night. Minimum start money is $100 for the Modifieds and $75 for both Stock Cars and Southern SportMods, and tour contingency awards are to be announced. 

Pit passes are $35 and grandstand admission is $20 for adults and $15 for seniors, military and kids each night. Race time is 7:30 p.m. at Ardmore and Bells, 8 p.m. at Boyd, 6 p.m. and Kennedale and 7 p.m. at Waco.

All five nights of the All Star Shootout will be broadcast exclusively on IMCA.TV.
