OSBORN, Mo. (Oct. 1, 2022) – Mich Ross showed his IMCA Sunoco Stock Car foes the way to victory lane on Saturday, night two of the Missouri Nationals at US 36 Raceway.

The new B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational candidate started outside Randy Smith Jr. on the front row of a main event that promised excitement and fireworks from the drop of the green flag.

As the front two battled, second row starters Chad Clancy and Conner Masoner showed their hand to the leaders. Ross got out front with Clancy in pursuit and the two remained this way through much of the feature.

Masoner and Smith faded slightly in the closing laps with JJ Baumli raging to the front. Baumli close in on Clancy and Ross but fell two places shy of taking the win away.

Jay Russell and Jace Whitt also scored IMCA feature wins, in the RaceSaver Sprint Car and Friesen Performance Northern SportMod divisions, respectively.

Curtis Evans appeared to have the car to beat until Russell found the high line and charged by Evans. As he pulled away, Mike Moore started a charge of his own, passing cars inside and out in his pursuit of the Evans in the closing laps before settling for third.

Northern SportMods did not disappoint as a stacked field charged to the green flag. Tim Eaton, Tim Stallbaumer, Adam Vrbka and Whitt all battled for the top spot on lap one with Whitt getting the advantage.

Whitt pull out to a car length lead with Eaton in second and Vrbka a close third. Stallbaumer got past Vrbka in the closing laps to challenge Eaton for second as Whitt continued to lead to the checkers.

Eaton ended in second and Stallbaumer was third.
