Winston Speedway reschedules Player Hater Wild West Shootout

ROTHBURY, Mich. – A check for $1,200 and a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot berth go to the winner of the IMCA Modified main event this Friday night at Winston Speedway.  The July 31 show is draw/redraw and IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Dirt Works Eastern Region, KMJ Performance State and track points will be awarded.  Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. The draw ends and hot laps start at 6:30 p.m. with racing at 7:30 p.m.  There is no entry fee; pit passes are $30 with admission to the pits free for children two and under. Spectator admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors 60 and over, military and kids 6-11, and free for five and under.  Sponsor for the division at Rothbury is Mercy Health Partners. ROTHBURY, Mich. – After making the announcement that he’d run IMCA Modifieds beginning in 2020, Winston Speedway promoter Dean Wilkerson had one of the hottest properties in town.  Twenty Friday night dates for the sanctioned division are scheduled this season at the 3/8-mile clay oval in Rothbury. It didn’t take long for area drivers to start a rush on pit parking reservations at the newest track in IMCA’s Dirt Works Eastern Region.  “We made the announcement that we would sanction with IMCA and posted pit spots for sale. We’ve already sold more than 30,” Wilkerson reported. “The response has been unreal.
