Another record as 349 drivers from 24 states complete online entry for IMCA Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa – Another week, another record. 

With the first full week of online registration nearly complete, early entries continue to roll in as 349 drivers are now confirmed to compete at the Sept. 6-11 IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.

Entries for the 39th annual America’s Racin’ Vacation® already include 116 Modifieds, 83 Stock Cars, 66 Northern SportMods, 46 Hobby Stocks, 22 Sport Compacts and 16 STARS Mod Lites. 

Those drivers travel to Boone Speedway from 24 states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wisconsin.

Modified drivers from 18 states are among early entries for The Original Three WideTM. 

IMCA and Boone Speedway track officials continue to encourage drivers in all divisions to complete early entry, to get their preferred car number as well as their pit stall.

Drivers must be licensed members in the division(s) in which they will compete at Super Nationals and are required to register before their pit stall application will be processed. Pre-registration is also a requirement to compete in the Sept. 4-5 Prelude at Boone.

Both the registration form and pit stall application links are on Super Nationals menus on IMCA and Boone Speedway websites.

The Prelude and each night of Super Nationals will be broadcast by IMCA.TV.

Ward, Dallon Murty deliver Saturday Prelude wins

BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 4) – Tim Ward and Dallon Murty will precede the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s with Saturday night Prelude feature wins. Ward led the last 21 of 30 laps in winning the IMCA Modified feature and $1,080; Murty caught Michael Jaennette with seven circuits left in the 30-lap finale at Boone Speedway, earning $800. One hundred and thirty Modifieds and 115 Stock Cars saw Prelude action while 49 STARS Mod Lites ran race of champions heats and their first night of Super Nationals qualifying. Already Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligible, Ward started sixth, was running second by lap seven and was half a car length ahead of Joel Bushore when lap nine was scored. The only caution came on lap 23 to erase Ward’s big lead and he was just fast enough coming out of the final turn to outrun Cody Laney to the checkers. Missouri transplant Cochrun eyes STARS Mod Lite debut at IMCA Super Nationals

RIDGEWAY, Mo. – As a spectator at Boone Speedway last September, Kaden Cochrun watched other drivers compete on IMCA’s biggest stage. As a first-time competitor this year, he hopes to be standing on the stage at the 39th annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.  The California native and now Ridgeway, Mo., transplant will be among the contenders for the first-ever IMCA STARS Mod Lite championship at Super Nationals.  “I already know how big this race is. There are going to be a lot of good drivers there and any one of them could win it,” said Cochrun, who turned 18 in early August. “It would be pretty cool if I could be the first Mod Lite Super Nationals champion.
