Hancock County hosts $1,100 to win show for IMCA Stock Cars

BRITT, Iowa – Two trips to Hancock County Speedway’s victory lane on Friday, July 16 will send an IMCA Sunoco Stock Car driver home with $1,600. 

That evening’s main event for The Class Too Tough To Tame pays $1,100 and makes the winner eligible to qualify for the B & B Chassis All-Star Invitational, while the Stock Car King of the Hill pays another $500 to win. 

There is no entry fee and IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods and Mach-1 Sport Compacts round out the draw/redraw show. Pit passes are $30 and spectator admission is $10 for adults and free for kids ages 12 and under.

Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 6 p.m. Hot laps are at 7 p.m. with racing to follow.

Kossuth County Speedway has a $1,000 to win event for Stock Cars on Thursday, July 15 and drivers in that division who compete at Algona, where pit gates open at 5 p.m. and races follow 7 p.m. hot laps, will be eligible for bigger shares of the Friday night purse at Britt.
