US 36, Bethany host $1,000 to win United Rebel Sprint Series shows

OSBORN, Mo. – Missouri speedplants US 36 Raceway and Bethany Speedway host first-ever appearances by the United Rebel Sprint Series this weekend, with $1,000 to win Budweiser Shootout shows on Friday, June 4 and Saturday, June 5 programs.

On Friday, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car competitors head to the Bud Shootout at US 36 Raceway in Osborn, where Mike Sosebee of Sosebee Motorsports has put up $400 for the winner of a pole dash for the top six heat race qualifiers.

On Saturday, the series heads to Bethany for the bookend night of the weekend doubleheader. This race also will pay $1,000 to win with $200 to start the main event.

“We’re anticipating a good mix of series drivers, local drivers, plus drivers from Nebraska and Iowa,” said promoter Jon Boller Jr. “And the weather is looking great, 88 degrees and beautiful.”

Pit passes are $35. General admission both nights is $25 for adults, kids ages 7-12 are $8 and six and under are free.

Pit gates and the grandstand open at 5 p.m. both days with hot laps at 7:30 p.m. with racing at 8 p.m. Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods are on both Friday and Saturday cards.

Jeremy Huish leads the Drive to Zero POWRi United Rebel Sprint Series Presented by Mel Hambelton Ford Racing point standings, with Jordan Knight, Kyler Johnson, Zach Blurton and Connor Atkinson rounding out the top five.
