OSBORN, Mo. – The second annual IMCA Missouri Nationals is set for Oct. 8-10 at US 36 Raceway.
The event features the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods. The event is also broadcast live on IMCA TV.
Modifieds are racing for $2,000 to win and $200 to start their Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational balloting qualifying main event on Saturday. The Friday qualifier pays $400 to win and $100 to start. Sprint Cars also pay $2,000 to win and $200 to start Saturday and $400 to win and $100 to start the qualifier on Friday.
Stock Cars pay $1,700 to win the Saturday main event and $100 to start. The Friday qualifier pays $300 to the winner and $80 to start. The SportMods have $1,500 on the line on Saturday and $80 to start. The Friday qualifier for the SportMods pays $250 to win and $70 to start.

Pre-entry to the event is recommended before Tuesday, Oct. 6. Pre-entry is $60 for the Modifieds and Sprint Cars and $50 for the IMCA Stock Cars and IMCA Sport Mods. After the sixth, late entry is $100 for all classes. The entry form is available at https://www.myracepass.com/tracks/3461/registrations.
Thursday, Oct. 8 is practice night. The pit gates open at 4 p.m. with practice from 6-10 p.m. Grandstands admission is free and a pit pass is $25. Drivers and crews have the option to get a three-day pit pass for $90 on Thursday.
Friday, Oct. 9 is qualifying night and drivers will compete in heats, ‘B’ features and main event qualifiers. The top 10 in each class qualifier lock into the main event on Saturday. Pit gates on Friday open at 4 p.m. The grandstands open at 5:30 p.m., with hot laps at 7 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 for general admission and children 12 and younger are free. Pit passes are $35.
Saturday, Oct. 10 is main event night and drivers will compete in ‘B’ features, dashes, last-chance qualifiers and the main events. The top 10 from Friday will redraw for their dash starting positions. Dash one will line up the inside row and award the pole. Dash two will line up the outside row and award the outside pole position.
Drivers who did not transfer through on Saturday will line up in ‘B’ features based on Friday’s results. Any driver not yet locked in after the ‘B’ features will compete in a last-chance qualifier to complete the 24-car main event field.
The pit gates open at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The grandstands open at 3:30 p.m. The first race is at 5 p.m. and the first main event will roll at 7 p.m. Tickets for Saturday are $20 for general admission and children 12 and younger are free. Pit passes are $35.
