PASS ends season at Lincoln Speedway, Selinsgrove

ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania Sprint Series will run its final two-race weekend of the season this Friday and Saturday, at Lincoln Speedway and Selinsgrove Speedway.

This also is the final weekend for 2020 points. 

On Friday night, the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car series will be part of the program at Lincoln. Early registration has indicated a likely field of well over 30 RaceSaver teams.

Pit gates open at 5:30 p.m., with hot laps at 6:30 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m. General admission for the evening is $10 for adults and pit passes are $30. 

On Saturday, PASS is at Selinsgrove, where division sponsor Apache Tree Service has put up $200 for the hard charger award. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. with racing getting underway at p.m. Adult general admission is $30 and $15 for youth ages 12-17. Reserved seats cost an additional $2. Pit gate admission is $40.

Spahr in right place at right time to capitalize at Keystone RaceSaver Challenge

(Oct. 21, 2022) – Logan Spahr put himself in the right position to take advantage of Kenny Heffner’s misfortune, then kept his car in the right position despite a determined challenge by Garrett Bard, and those moves earned him the Keystone RaceSaver Challenge victory Friday at Port Royal Speedway.  Also known as the Blue Collar Classic, the Keystone race ended the 2022 season for the IMCA RaceSaver Pennsylvania Sprint Series and capped a tremendous finish to the season for the former micro-sprint champion. A third-place finish in the season opener at Lincoln Speedway in March showed the team’s potential, but an early summer run of mechanical woes threatened the positive outlook.  That all turned around in August, and at the end of that month, Spahr claimed the team’s first victory, at Selinsgrove Speedway, then added another Selinsgrove win four weekends later. Adams a graduate and a PASS winner

PORT ROYAL, Pa. (June 8) – Recent graduate Devin Adams worked hard for his high school diploma, then put that work ethic to good use on the race track, earning his first career Pennsylvania Sprint Series victory in Saturday’s 20-lap feature at Port Royal Speedway.  Adams, a Northern Lebanon High School graduate, took the lead from Jonathan Jones on the second lap and then held off repeated determined challenges from Jones to score the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car win. “I knew he was there the whole race,” Adams said, “and I knew if I could protect the bottom (in turns one and two), then I could hold him off, but I wasn’t sure. Smith makes last-lap pass for Keystone checkers 

PORT ROYAL, Pa. (Oct. 7) – Kyle Smith traveled from Massachusetts to win Port Royal Speedway’s Keystone IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car Challenge Saturday night. The victory came as part of the Blue Collar Classic and Smith became the 18th different winner in 37 PASS events in 2017. Smith surged over the final five laps to reign in Tyler Reeser and swoop past for the $1,350 win in the final two turns of the 25-lap feature event. Feature results – 1. Kyle Smith; 2.
