Daniels cruises in Stuart Stock Car feature

STUART, Iowa (Aug. 5) – Bob Daniels worked his way to the front, then cruised to the Wednes­day night IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature win at Stuart Speedway. 

Brad Derry and Brock Badger showed the way to the green flag but Daniels used the bottom of the track to take over the lead just before halfway and stayed in front to the checkers. Badger fin­ished second with Buck Schafroth third.      

Tim Ward led the way through traffic and led Tom Berry Jr. across the stripe in the IMCA Modified main event. Dylan Nelson took charge at the crossed flags and led to the finish of the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock feature.

There was no catching Brayton Carter after he rocketed from seventh starting to the lead two laps into the Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod feature. Hunter Patrick topped a thriller for the Mach-1 Sport Compacts.

Aug. 19 will be Hall of Fame Night.

Murty, Schafroth top Whole Hog Qualifier Winners

STUART, Iowa (May 28, 2023) – The third annual Whole Hog 50 sponsored by VanEaton Pork kicked off Sunday at Karl Chevrolet of Stuart International Speedway. Winners for the night were Jon Padilla, Ben Kraus, Damon Murty, Buck Schafroth, Tristan Grape, Brayton Carter and Todd Shute. Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lites were first to the track for the final night of the three-day swing for the Cornbelt Clash. Jon Padilla led early and often in this one with Josh May stalking him in second. May and Austin Gray had a couple of chances with cautions but Padilla had the line and stayed smooth to take the win. Gray came home second with Justin Kinderknecht third, May faded to fourth and Brandon Freeburg fifth. Padilla took home an extra $1,000 for the Clash points title, May $500 and Kinderknecht $250 to round out the top three. Ayers gets first career IMCA Hobby Stock win

By Josh Reynolds STUART, Iowa (May 25) – Adam Ayers beat the clock and the rest of the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock field in earning his career first feature win in the division Friday at Stuart Speedway. Ayers and Jack Phillips brought the field to green with Ayers getting the jump to lead Phillips and Matt McAtee on lap one. McAtee got past Phillips on lap two with Jeremy Purdy making it to third a lap later. The top three stayed the same until the race was brought to a stop on lap eight after Solomon Bennett got into the turn one wall and rolled over onto his roof. Bennett was OK but his night was over. Once the green came back out it didn’t last long as second place McAtee put his car up and over the turn two wall and went all the way to the bottom of the embankment. Five IMCA divisions featured in fifth annual Midwest Madness Tour     

WORTHINGTON, Minn. (May 3, 2023) – Drivers in five IMCA divisions race on five consecutive nights in the fifth annual Midwest Madness Tour.  Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars both run for $1,000 top checks, Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods race for $500 to win, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $400 to win and Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $200 to win at venues in Minnesota, Iowa and South Dakota.  Modified winners become eligible to qualify for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational and Stock Car winners become B & B Racing Chassis All-Star qualifying eligible.  The tour opens Sunday, June 25 at Worthington, Minn., Speedway and then travels to Clay County Fair Speedway in Spencer on Monday, June 26; to Park Jefferson Speedway in Jefferson, S.D., on Tuesday, June 27; to Buena Vista Raceway in Alta, Iowa, on Wednesday, June 28; and to Stuart, Iowa, Speedway on Thursday, June 29.  IMCA.TV affiliate Advantage Racing.TV broadcasts all five race programs.
