Hobo 40 at Hancock County pays IMCA Stock Car winner $2,000

BRITT, Iowa – Racing returns to Hancock County Speedway Friday night, with five IMCA divisions on the June 11 card.  The Hancock County District Fair Board has taken over promotion of weekly events, slated to feature IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods and Mach-1 Sport Compacts, for the remainder of the season.  “We would like to thank Ryan, Holly and Daryl for all of the work they have put into the track for the past year and a half,” said Ryan Hiscocks, a fair board director. “The facility is in great shape. BRITT, Iowa – There’s a $2,500 check waiting for the winner of Hancock County Speedway’s Tuesday, June 18 Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod Nationals.  The MaxYield Seed-sponsored special pays a minimum of $300 to start. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and E3 Spark Plugs Iowa State, but no track points will be awarded and top finishers from each heat advance to the $200 to win DeKalb/Asgrow Dash to determine their starting spots in the main event. Entry fee of $50 must be postmarked by June 14 and should be mailed to 4 Wide Promotions at PO Box 424 in Garner, Iowa, 50438. Late entry fee is $75. BRITT, Iowa – Hancock County Speedway’s MaxYield Seed SportMod Nationals bring Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods to Britt for a $2,500 to win main event Tuesday, June 22. The feature pays a minimum of $300 to take the green and 24 cars make up the field for the 30-lapper. Two $250 mystery position bonuses will be awarded; entry fee is $75.  IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Mach-1 Sport Compacts are also on the card. All divisions are draw/redraw and transponders can be rented for $20.  Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 6 p.m. Hot laps are at 7 p.m. and racing starts at 7:30 p.m. Pit passes are $35.
