COLUMBUS JUNCTION, Iowa (July 17) – CJ Speedway fans were treated to a classic battle in Friday’s IMCA Sunoco Stock main event.

Twenty drivers took the green flag with young Austin Kemper setting the pace for the first half of the main event. While Kemper led, a fierce battle was being waged behind him. Jason See, who had advanced from the seventh position start, was able to break out of the pack of contenders and into second before moving by Kemper on lap 11.

See went on to score the win over a hard-charging Adam Bell, who was looking to become a repeat winner at CJ Speedway. Bell was able to get beside See on several occasions before setting for second as Johnny Spaw battled to the front from 11th.

Cody Staley captured the mach-1 Sport Compact feature over Brad Havel and William Michel.
