Much to see, enjoy in Fan Zone during week of Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa – There’s much to see and plenty to enjoy at the Fan Zone through­out the week of the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. 

Nu­merous events will be held at the Fan Zone, located south of the main grandstands, each day of America’s Racin’ Vacation Sept. 2-7. 

The Casey’s General Store redraw for starts in the front six rows of the Deery Brothers Summer Series main event will be held at approximately 7 p.m. on Monday.

Monday’s Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod qualifying feature winners sign autographs at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. Drivers in the two divisions winning qualifiers Tuesday evening sign autographs during an­other 6 p.m. session on Wednesday, Sept. 4. 

Card games to determine the starting grid for Northern SportMod and Hobby Stock race of champi­ons events will be held at approximately 3 p.m. and 4 p.m., respectively, on Wednesday 

Top four finish­ers from Wednesday’s Modified and Stock Car qualifiers Rochambeau for starting positions and sign autographs starting at 4 p.m.  and 6 p.m., respectively on Thursday, Sept. 5.

Qualifiers from Thursday features for Modifieds and Stock Cars take their turns in the Fan Zone starting at 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6.

The Modified drivers starting that even­ing’s Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational will sign autographs in the Fan Zone beginning at approximately 7 p.m.

Sunoco Race Fuels Race of Champions and Harris Auto Racing Race of Champions card games are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7. Friday’s Stock Car and Modified qualifiers sign autographs at that same time.

The secret to Oliver’s success ? 5 green olives on race day

BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 6, 2024) – Looking to earn a starting spot in the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s, Stock Car championship event, John Oliver Jr. continued a unique race day tradition in the pits Friday at Boone Speedway. He ate five green olives. “I started doing this a couple years ago. Super Nationals online registration underway

BOONE, Iowa – Online registration for the biggest and best event in all of dirt track racing is underway.  Drivers in all divisions except the Late Models planning to compete at the Sept. 2-7 IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s must pre-register online. The form for pre-registration can be found at www.imca.com and www.raceboone.com under the Super Nationals menu.  Drivers who do not already have a MyRacePass account can create one when they go to that link. “We began the on-line registration process last year and it helped speed up the entire process immensely,” said IMCA President Brett Root. “It made it considerably easier for our staff to prepare for Super Nationals leading up to the event and streamlined much of the actual week of Super Nationals for IMCA and Boone Speedway employees.”  Drivers must also pre-register to reserve pit stalls and to compete in the Aug. 31 Prelude at Boone Speedway.
