BETHANY, Mo. – Three IMCA divisions headline Northwest Missouri State Fair Races at Bethany Speedway on Sunday, Sept. 1.
IMCA Modifieds vie for $1,200 to win and a minimum of $150 to start their Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier. Modified heat winners earn $50 each. The hard charger in the feature will receive $100. Twenty-five laps in the feature will each pay $10 to the leader.
IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $800 to win and a minimum of $80 to start, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods for $750 to win and a minimum of $70 to start.
Heat winners in those divisions earn $25, with $50 paid to the hard chargers. Lap money is $5 with 20 laps scheduled for the Stocks and 18 for the SportMods.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and E3 Spark Plugs Missouri State points will be awarded.
Racing starts at approximately 8 p.m.
Bethany Speedway re-opened last year under the direction of Jon Boller Jr. and ran Modified, Stock Cars and Northern SportMods during regular race programs again in 2019.
