OSBORN, Mo. – Similarly to most other tracks in the region, US 36 Raceway has been forced to cancel events regularly during the 2019 season. Due to the rainouts, US 36 Raceway officials have made some minor adjustments to the schedule along with rescheduling Modified Madness to June 21.
This Friday, June 7 will remain the same as all weekly classes will tackle the high banks on Westfall GMC Night at the Races. The IMCA Modifieds will race for $1,000 to win in a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying event. It is also CARB Night, Cletus Murray Remembrance Night and Kids Night.
The first adjustment to the schedule comes on June 14 with the Bud Shootout. The Sprint Series of Nebraska headlines the event and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars are also racing. The change comes as IMCA Modifieds have been added to the program making this a can’t miss night.
As mentioned, Modified Madness has been rescheduled for June 21. IMCA Modifieds will battle for $1,000 to win while Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods have $500 on the line.
The Wayne Hicks Memorial SportMod Shootout has been moved up to June 28, from its previous July 12 date. Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods headline the night as all regular classes, which include the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars.
July 5 will see the return of the Sprint Series of Nebraska along with the IMCA Modifieds.
IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods are on the July 12 card.
July 19 sees no change as all regular classes will continue season championship battles.
The Joe Crist Memorial Stock Car Shootout remains on July 26 and headlines the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars. All regular classes will battle the high banks along with the Stock Cars.
The remainder of the schedule remains the same as Aug. 2 brings another edition of the IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing season with all regular classes. US 36 Raceway is closed Aug. 9 and the 2019 season champions will be decided on Aug. 16.
US 36 Raceway will welcome everyone for the inaugural Missouri IMCA Nationals. On Oct. 9 through Oct. 12, some of the best in IMCA Modifieds, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods will challenge the fast raceway. Full details of the event will be released at a later date.
