Martens is final Sprint leader at US 36

OSBORN, Mo. (May 31) – Jake Martens was the third and final leader in the Friday’s IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car feature at US 36 Raceway.

Jack Potter took control early and looked to have the fastest car on the track. Late in the race, however, Potter entered a little high in turn three and slid over the berm, bringing out the caution. 

Kenny Potter inherited the lead and held it for a few laps before Martens made the pass. Martens got the win and made a trip to Westfall GMC Victory Lane. Potter finished second with Matt Richards third. 

Chad Clancy dominated the IMCA Modified feature while Steve Starmer picked up his first IMCA Sunoco Stock Car win of 2019 at US 36 Raceway. 

Two weeks ago, Steven Clancy used patience to pick up the Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod feature win. He did the same thing on this night, making a late-race move around Josh Munsen to pick up win number four of the season.

Missouri IMCA Nationals Oct. 25-26 at US 36 Raceway

OSBORN, Mo. (Oct. 23) – Today (Wednesday) is the final day to take advantage of early pre-entry for the first ever Missouri IMCA Nationals on Oct. 25-26. Drivers can pre-enter here: https://www.myracepass.com/register/?n=17636. The event at US 36 Raceway features IMCA Modifieds, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern Sport Mods and is sponsored by Westfall GMC, Timberline Trading, NAPA Auto Racing and Boller Motorsports. Modified and Sprint Car pre-entry is $60 and Stock Car and Sport Mod pre-entry is $50. After today’s deadline passes, entry increases to $100. Jet Racing has also provided several gift certificates to be awarded on race day. Friday is practice night and racing will take place on Saturday. The pit gates open at 11 a.m. on Saturday, hot laps are at 1 p.m. and racing starts at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 for general admission and children 12 and younger are free. Osborn debut for United Rebel Sprints see Russell earn Budweiser Shootout checkers

OSBORN, Mo. (June 4) – Nineteen IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars were in attendance for Friday’s POWRi Drive to Zero United Rebel Sprint Series debut at Missouri’s US 36 Raceway and Jay Russell was the $1,000 Budweiser Shootout winner.  Russell and Jack Potter set the pace for the 25-lap feature, with Russell powering to the lead before a trio of early cautions.  Excellent side-by-side action followed amongst the top three cars, as Stuart Snyder slid to the high side with Russell and Kenny Potter just to the inside while Ty Williams began his march forward, moving into fourth. Potter and Snyder dueled for the runner-up position behind Russell as Williams and Mike Houseman Jr. challenged for fifth. Potter moved to second and began a charge on Russell before taking the lead. Sprint Series of Nebraska opening at US 36 Raceway, New Raceway Park

OSBORN, Mo. – The Sprint Series of Nebraska will be heading South to US 36 Raceway in Mis­souri on Friday, May 15 and then will head North on Sunday, May 17 to The New Raceway Park in Jefferson, S.D. “We are excited to finally get to kick off the first two IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Series of Nebraska Races,” says Sprint Series of Nebraska coordinator Racine Hadan. “Race tracks have been hit very hard here in Nebraska with all of the COVID-19 restrictions.
