Three IMCA divisions run at Arizona Speedway’s John Morris Classic

SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. – Three IMCA divisions are on the card both nights of Arizona Speedway’s Memorial Weekend John Morris Classic.

IMCA Modifieds run for $1,000 to win and Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot berths while IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods both chase top checks of $500 at Saturday and Sunday, May 25 and 26 shows. 

Both programs are draw/redraw and IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional, E3 Spark Plugs Arizona State and track points will be awarded.

Entry fee is $25 for Modifieds and $20 for Stock Cars and SportMods. Pit passes are $35. 

Pit gates open at 4:30 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m., racing at 7:30 p.m.

Grandstand admission is $16 for adults, $14 for seniors and military, $10 for kids and free for five and under.

IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars on Jan. 1 card at Arizona Speedway

QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. – The first green flag of the 2020 IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing season flies Wednesday, Jan. 1 at Arizona Speedway.  A 40-lap feature for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars is on the program for the ninth annual New Year’s Day special. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, EQ Cylinder Heads Southern Region and E3 Spark Plugs Arizona State points will be awarded. Pit gates open at 10 a.m., the grandstand opens at 11 a.m. and racing is at noon.  Grandstand admission is $15 for adults and seniors and free for kids ages 11 and under. Pit passes are $35 for adults, $10 for kids ages 7-12 and free for six and under.

Marriott charges to opening night Arizona IMCA Modified Tour victory

(Feb. 9) – Defending champion Hunter Marriott was the $1,500 main event winner when the highly anticipated Karl Performance Arizona IMCA Modified Tour got underway Friday at Arizona Speedway. Eighty-eight Modifieds checked in for battle on opening night of the second annual tour. Marriott powered from the eighth starting position to battle Jason Wolla for the lead with four laps to go. Marriott placed a bid for the lead entering turn one as he attempted a slide job on Wolla amongst lapped traffic. Arizona Speedway sets Superstition Showdown for three IMCA divisions

SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. – Three IMCA divisions runs each night of Arizona Speedway’s Feb. 12-14 Superstition Showdown, with the Sunday IMCA Modified winner taking home $5,000. All three Modified feature are Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifiers, with $1,500 paid to win Friday, Feb. 12 and Saturday, Feb. 13 events. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars race for $500 to win and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods for $750 to win Friday and Saturday.  Top checks in both divisions in the Valentine’s Day show on Sunday are $1,000.  IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and KMJ Performance Arizona State points will be awarded each night.
