BETHANY, Mo. (April 20) – C.J. Turner picked up his first-ever IMCA Sunoco Stock Car victory Saturday at Bethany Speedway.
Turner set a blistering pace, getting out front early and showing the rest of the field the fast way around with heat winners Conner and Carson Masoner trying to run him down to no avail.
Corey Piffer took his turn challenging Turner but faded in the closing laps. Turner was not be denied and proved the Jamesport Mafia is alive and well as he picked up his first Stock Car feature win.
Conner Masoner passed Piffer and younger brother Carson for second place with a late-race charge. Carson Masoner battled Piffer to the line and claimed third.
Cory Wray was the IMCA Modified winner and Garrett Nelson topped the Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod main.
