U.S. 36 Raceway schedules practice for Wednesday, March 27

OSBORN, Mo. – U.S. 36 Raceway is adding a practice to the schedule Wednesday, March 27 from 6-10 p.m. After cancelling practice on Saturday, track officials want to allow drivers the opportunity to make some laps around the 3/8th mile oval before opening night. 

Pit gates will open at 5 p.m. and pit passes are $25. Practice is open to all classes of cars for the four-hour session.

Please continue to check social media as well as http://www.us36racewaydirttrack.com/ for updates on the March 29 Rumble in the Bullring. U.S. 36 is closely monitoring the forecast and will make a decision on the event Wednesday.

The IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing season begins April 5 with IMCA Modifieds, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustom Northern SportMods on the program.

It’s a 10! Nichols tops Joe Crist Memorial at US 36

(July 29, 2022) – Mike Nichols had to give a 10 to his 10th IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature win of the season.  Nichols became the sixth different winner in as many years US 36 Raceway has hosted the Joe Crist Memorial, earning $2,262 for the Friday night victory at Osborn.  “They had 30 cars there and any time you’ve got that many Stock Cars together, you’re bound to see good racing,” Nichols said following career checkers number 593 in the division.  Derrick Agee, Danny Holt and Brandon Williams were among the first to fight it out for the lead with each taking a turn out front. Sprint Series of Nebraska, Fast Shafts qualifier for IMCA Modifieds on Friday ticket at US 36 Raceway

OSBORN, Mo. – This Friday, May 15, U.S. 36 Raceway welcomes the Sprint Series of Nebraska for its first appearance of 2020.  U.S. 36 has also added a $1,000 to win, Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying IMCA Modified show to the night’s events. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars are also racing. U.S. 36 Raceway officials are monitoring the weather forecast and will keep teams and fans updated on the status of the event.  Pit gates open at 4 p.m. with the grandstands opening at 6 p.m. Hot laps are at 7:30 and the first race hits the track at 8 p.m.  Tickets for the event are $20 for general admission, $18 for senior and military and children 12 and younger are free. Social distancing guidelines remain in effect at U.S. 36 Raceway.

Furrell is IMCA Mod Lite star at US 36

By Rick Staley OSBORN, Mo. (June 23, 2023) – Tyler Furrell was the Friday night star at US 36 Raceway, recording his career first Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lite feature win. Furrell and James Beebe got out front at the drop of the green. Justin Raffurty challenged the front pair but neither were shaken and continued to battle up front as the always fast Dillon Raffurty made his march forward. As the laps wound down, Furrell continued to hold off all challengers and picked up his first-ever feature win with two-time defending national champion Dillon Raffurty a close second. Beebe showed a lot of speed in a solid third place showing with Michael Raffurty and Justin Raffurty completing the top five.
