US 36 Raceway updates 2019 schedule, announces inaugural Missouri IMCA Nationals

OSBORN, Mo. – An updated 2019 schedule for US 36 Raceway has been posted.

Highlighting the update is the addition of the Missouri IMCA Nationals. The Missouri IMCA Nationals will take place Oct. 9-12 and will feature IMCA Modifieds, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods. 

More details about this event will be released at a later date. 

US 36 Raceway is also making an effort in 2019 to allow each regular division three or four nights off dur­ing the course of the season.

Due to that, adjustments have been made for various dates throughout the season. Drivers, teams and fans please review the updated schedule to review what nights which division has off.

CARB Night Friday at US 36 Raceway

(May 20, 2022) – Racing returns to US 36 Raceway Friday, May 20 with six IMCA divisions seeing action on the high banks.  Adding to the excitement it is CARB Night with all Central Auto Racing Booster members getting in free to the grandstands by presenting their CARB membership card at the grandstand gate.  Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA STARS Mod Lites, Friesen Performance IMCA Northern Sport Mods and Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts all vie for that checkered flag and first-place trophy.  Pit passes are $35. In addition to free grandstand admission for CARB members displaying membership cards, spectator admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors 65 and older and active military and veterans, $5 for kids ages 7-12 $5 and kids ages six and under are free. Pit gates open at 5 p.m. The grandstand opens at 6 p.m., the drivers’ meeting is at 7 p.m., hot laps are at 7:15 p.m. with racing to follow.

Rain forces cancellation of Championship Night at US 36 Raceway

OSBORN, Mo. – Due to overnight thunderstorms and more forecasted rain later tonight, US 36 Raceway officials have decided to cancel racing for Aug. 16.  This will conclude the championship chase for the season as US 36 will focus on the remaining specials scheduled for 2019. US 36 Raceway has two big post-season events planned as the Sprint Series of Nebraska joins the Saturday Sep. 28 show. Then on Oct. 9-12, it is the inaugural IMCA Missouri Nationals. Details are being finalized for the two events and more information will be released soon.

Weekly racers ready to go Friday at U.S. 36 Raceway

OSBORN, Mo. – Between rainouts and special events at U.S. 36 Raceway, a month has passed since the weekly competitors at all competed on the same night.  Friday, June 12, the weekly racers ready to challenge the high banks once again. The IMCA Modi­fieds, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods are all on lineup.  Pit gates open at 4 p.m. The grandstand opens at 6 p.m., with hot laps at 7:30 p.m. and racing at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $12 for military and seniors (with ID) and children 12 and younger are free.
