ARLINGTON, Minn. (Aug. 18) – A driver who has enjoyed considerable success over the years at Arlington Raceway found his way to victory lane Saturday night.
Jeff McCollum prevailed in an IMCA Unhinged Pizza Northern SportMod feature that saw its fair share of cautions.
The victory was the first in the class for McCollum, who owns 102 checkers in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car divisions as well as five Arlington track titles in the full-bodied division.
First in the MN 93 IMCA Modified main went to Brandon Beckendorf. Trevor Serbus topped the 95.7 the Rock IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car feature and Matthew Schauer regained the lead with two laps left in winning the B & B Racing Chassis IMCA Stock Car main.
Cory Probst was the Eckblad Trucking IMCA Hobby Stock winner and Bubba Brown led the distance in the Coors Light IMCA Sport Compact contest.
