STOCKTON, Kan. – The United Rebel Sprint Series braces for a huge, three-race weekend with the annual Bob Salem Memorial highlighting all the race action.
It all begins Friday, Aug. 17 at Stockton Speedway before embarking to Oberlin Speedway Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 18-19.
It will be a pivotal weekend for the series points standings as just five events remain in the 2018 race season.
Friday night’s IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car event atop the Stockton Fairgrounds will pay $700 to win. Gates open at 5 p.m. with race action slated for a 7:00 p.m.
On Saturday and Sunday night for the annual running of the Bob Salem Memorial, the Saturday night’s portion of the event will pay $700 to win while Sunday night pays $1,000 to win. Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, kids ages 7-12 are $8 and children six and under admitted into the grandstands for free. Gates open at 5 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m.
