SEYMOUR, Wis. (July 15) – Brian Mullen made his move to the front on the final circuit in winning Sunday’s IMCA Modified main event at Outagamie Speedway.
An opening lap wreck in the open wheel headliner sent point leader Mike Mullen down pit lane with damage and he did not return. J.J. Andersen then led from the drop of the green until lap six when Konnor Wilinski took away the top spot.
Wilinski paced the field, running up top as Mullen worked through the pack. Mullen began to close with five to go. Mullen made his move as the white flag flew, diving under Wilinski for the lead, the win and top spot in the point standings.
Kyle Frederick collected the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car checkers and Cody Schroeder raced past Cole Mangin with four laps remaining to win the IMCA Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod feature.
Michael Brehmer came out on top in the Mach-1 Sport Compact main.
By Edward Anschutz SEYMOUR, Wis. (June 12) – One hundred and fifty-two cars packed the pit area for the first night of the 2020 racing season Friday at Outagamie Speedway powered by EWSC. Defending IMCA Modified track champion Johnny Whitman drew the pole for the night’s main event and looked strong early on as Benji LaCrosse gave chase. LaCrosse closed in several times but was never able to mount a serious challenge for the lead. Whitman led flag to flag earning the victory over LaCrosse. Lucas Lamberies was third, Jason Ebert took fourth and Andy Kleczka completed the top five. Kenny Richards jumped from the pole position to the lead in the opening lap of the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature as Jeremy Christians, Luke Lemmens and Eric Mahlik battled for second. (June 4) – One hundred and forty-two racers checked in to do battle at Outagamie Speedway powered by EWSC Friday with IMCA wins going to Wyatt Block Jr., Brandon Czarapata and Jeff Steenbergen. Rookie Jacob Ambrosious paced the open laps of the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature until Chas Van Ooyen took the lead on lap five. Van Ooyen immediately came under fire from Czarapata and Rod Snellenberger. Czarapata used the low groove to slip by for the lead on lap 10. Czarapata pulled away as Van Ooyen fell to the wayside with a busted tie rod. Czarapata cruised to his second feature in a row. Snellenberger had his best run of the season to place second, Kevin Hebbe came through the last chance qualifier to take third, Travis Van Straten was fourth and Logan Leary completed the top five. By Edward Anschutz SEYMOUR, Wis. (May 19, 2023) – Lucas Lamberies led the way to the checkers Friday night, in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main event at Outagamie Speedway. Lucas Lamberies paced the opening laps with defending track champion Jayden Schmidt giving chase. Lamberies worked the cushion to perfection opening his advantage over second. Lamberies carved his way through lap track traffic enroute to his first win of the season. Schmidt had to settle for second at the pay window, Josh Long was third and Cody Schroeder took fourth. In Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMod action it was Mathew Radtke setting the pace early until Mason Woods came storming by on lap five.
