Arlington checkers fly for Plamann

ARLINGTON, Minn. (Aug. 5) – Chris Plamann was the third and final leader in Saturday’s Premier Lo­gistics IMCA Hobby Stock feature at Arlington Raceway.

Colton Burke and Luke Trebelhorn split time up front before Plamann capitalized on a restart, then held off Brad Becker the eight times around the track.

A restart also helped open the door for Unhinged Pizza IMCA Northern SportMod winner Kevin Kirk, who prevailed in a green, white, checkered finish in front of Jeff Lloyd.

Dean Cornelius led from lap three to the finish of the B & B Racing Chassis IMCA Stock Car fea­ture and traveler Adam Hensel prevailed in the MN 93 IMCA Modified headliner.

Chris Graf started 10th and finished first in the 95.7 The Rock IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car main. Sixth starting Alex Dostal captured the Coors Light IMCA Sport Compact checkers.

Serbus sprints to Dan Grams Memorial checkers

ARLINGTON, Minn. (July 15, 2023) – Trevor Serbus was again victorious in the Henderson RoadHaus Dan Grams Memorial feature for IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars Saturday at Arlington Raceway. Serbus drew the outside front row start and ran up front the total distance to win the race and $1,000.  There was a red flag on the first lap when Michael Stien rolled over in the second set of turns. Bill Johnson got collected as well in and they were both out of the race. Brett Allen got the lucky dog award as he had gotten too high in turn two and fell off the back side of the track, losing several spots in the process, but the red was called and a complete restart occurred. Hatlestad, Zevenbergen take top checks, Luinenburg, Porter get big Arlington wins

ARLINGTON, Minn. (Sept. 23) – While Clint Hatlestad and Elijah Zevenbergen took $1,500 victo­ries, Justin Luinenburg and Kyren Porter were history-making winners Saturday at Arlington Raceway. More than 200 cars were in the pits for the season championship night program, held in honor of the late Scotty Schoknecht. Hatlestad topped the IMCA Modified main, earning a spot on the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot, while Zevenbergen was fastest in an IMCA Sunoco Stock Car field pared from 42 entries. Luinenburg earned his career 100th victory in the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock feature and Porter became the first driver to win an Arlington Raceway track title in the Mach-1 Sport Compact divi­sion. LaTour triumphs at Arlington

ARLINGTON, Minn. (July 28) – Kevin LaTour won his first feature in the B&B Racing Chassis IMCA Stock Car division Saturday at Arlington Raceway, leading from start to finish in the green-to-checkered race. Matt Speckman started 10th and worked his way through the field to challenge LaTour but ended up second ahead of Chad Schroeder, who got by Brent Uecker on the last lap to take third. Brandon Beckendorf bested the MN 93 IMCA Modified field again and Trevor Serbus wheeled his 95.7 IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car around the topside of the track to win another feature. Matt Looft crossed the finish line first in the Unhinged Pizza IMCA Northern SportMod feature while Alex Dostal prevailed in the Coors Light IMCA Sport Compact main. Cory Probst scored another Eckblad Trucking IMCA Hobby Stock victory.
