IMCA Stock Car payday is $1,500 at Arlington Shootout special

ARLINGTON, Minn. – IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars battle it out for $1,500 to win at Arlington Raceway’s Wednesday, Aug. 2 Sibley County Stock Car Shootout.

Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods run for $750 to win and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for a $400 top check that evening.

MCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional, Allstar Performance State and local track points will be awarded at the draw/redraw show.

Pit gates open at 4 p.m. Racing starts at 7 p.m. Grandstand admission is $15 and pit passes are $30.

RaceSaver win is first for rookie Snow

ARLINGTON, Minn. (July 1, 2023) – A driver from Princeton was king of the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars Saturday night at Arlington Raceway. Jeremy Snow won his first career feature in the winged class, leading the distance in a 15-lap feature that ran green to checkered. “It felt fantastic,” said Snow, an IMCA rookie at 48 and winner in his 14th night out. “We have taken some lumps this season (rebuilding the car in late May) so it was a great feeling to get this win. Hesse hauls to career first checkers at Arlington

ARLINGTON, Minn. (May 18, 2024) – Cole Hesse became a first-time winner, on a night of firsts Saturday at Arlington Raceway. The Gibbon hotshoe made the most of the lower line, made his way to the front of the field by lap five and then made his way to victory lane following his career-first Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMod victory. “Definitely down low was fastest, and it seemed like (turns) one and two were better for me,” said Hesse, who would pull away to a two second advantage before the end of the race. “I’ve got one trophy now and hopefully I can add more. Spectacular finish to season at Arlington

ARLINGTON, Minn. (Sept. 28, 2024) – The last race of the season saw some spectacular action in both heats and features at Arlington Raceway. Trent Loverude continued his winning ways as he drew the pole, started up front and stayed there in winning the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main event. Dalton Magers and Todd Stinehart were switching positions for the first 10 laps before Magers brought out a caution and then went into the pit area. By the 12th lap, Dan Menk was challenging but Loverude was able to gain quite a distance and went onto win the race. Menk took second with Stinehart taking third. Loverude won the track championship. The Rice Companies IMCA RaceSaver Sprint car feature saw several yellow flag, the first when Andrew Allen got sideways in turn four and Kyla Anderson got collected into him. Both done for the night. Mike Vandermark Jr.: From Snowy Michigan to Clash On The Coast Champion

South Texas IMCA Modified Series Ready for Sophomore Season

SAN ANTONIO (Mar. 14, 2025) — Race fans, get ready — the South Texas IMCA Modified Series is back for an action-packed second season in 2025! Ten races at five Lone Star State tracks are scheduled, starting March 28 at Heart O’ Texas Speedway near Waco, followed by I-37 Speedway in Pleasanton on March 29. Chris Tuchscherer: From the Octagon to the Race Track

BURLINGTON, N.D. (Mar. 12, 2025) — North Dakota’s Chris Tuchscherer knows how to race hard, achieve success, and persevere. His competitive drive stems from a background in wrestling, which began in his high school hometown of Bowman. Excelling at both the high school and collegiate levels, he wrestled at North Dakota State University (NDSU) in Fargo and Moorhead State before stepping into the Octagon as a competitor in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Racing Roots and Return to the Track Tuchscherer’s passion for racing began with derby cars before transitioning to Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars.
