Spring Showdown starts new season at Sheridan

SHERIDAN, Wy. (April 27, 2022) – Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds are on the program both nights as Sheridan Speedway opens the new race season with the April 30-May 1 Spring Showdown. Modifieds race for $450 to win on Saturday and for $750 to win on Sunday. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Shaw Race Cars Western Region, KMJ Performance State and track points will be awarded both nights.  Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. Racing is at 6 p.m.  Pit passes are $30 and car and driver is $35. Spectator admission is $13 for adults and free for kids ages 12 and under.  Both nights of the Spring Showdown will be broadcast by IMCA.TV.

Sheridan Speedway hosts Aug. 13-15 I-90 Challenge for IMCA Modifieds

SHERIDAN, Wy. – IMCA Modifieds are in action each night of Sheridan’s Speedway’s Aug. 13, 14 and 15 I-90 Challenge.  The Friday night feature pays $450 to win, with $800 paid to win on Saturday and $900 to win on Sunday. All three programs will be draw/redraw. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Shaw Race Cars Western, KMJ Performance State and track points awarded each night. Entry fee is $40 on Friday, $75 on Saturday and $100 on Sunday or $215 for all three nights.  The pit gate opens at 4 p.m. Friday and at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Drivers’ meetings are at 6 p.m. and will be followed by mud-in and racing each night. Pit passes for adults are $30 a night of $90 for all three nights. IMCA Mountain States Tour visits Big Sky, Sheridan Speedway

BILLINGS, Mont. – Two $1,000 to win, Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying events are on the schedule during the upcoming Mountain States Tour for IMCA Modifieds. Big Sky Speedway at Billings Mont., hosts Friday and Saturday, June 26 and 27 shows. Sheridan Speedway in Wyoming is the site of Sunday and Monday, June 28 and 29 events. Opening night races at each track pay $600 to win while night two features pay $1,000. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Shaw Race Cars Western Region, state and track points will be given each night. Contingency awards go to top five drivers in four-day point standings for the tour. Car and driver is $50 for the first night and $75 for the second night at both tracks. Big Sky, Sheridan host IMCA Gunslinger Tour dates

BILLINGS, Mont. – Four dates and a pair of Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying events comprise the upcoming Gunslinger Tour. IMCA Modifieds race for $600 to win on Friday, June 7 and for $1,000 to win on Saturday, June 8 at Big Sky Speedway in Billings, Mont.; and for $600 to win on Sunday, June 9 and for $1,000 to win on Monday, June 10 at Wyoming’s Sheridan Speedway.  Top driver in points for the four shows now earns an additional $1,000 plus a championship belt. Second place gets $750, third place gets $500, fourth place gets $400 and fifth in points is good for $300.  In addition to tour points, IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Larry Shaw Race Cars Western Region, E3 Spark Plugs State and track points will be awarded.
