SHERIDAN, Wy. – IMCA Modifieds are in action each night of Sheridan’s Speedway’s Aug. 13, 14 and 15 I-90 Challenge.
The Friday night feature pays $450 to win, with $800 paid to win on Saturday and $900 to win on Sunday. All three programs will be draw/redraw.
IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Shaw Race Cars Western, KMJ Performance State and track points awarded each night. Entry fee is $40 on Friday, $75 on Saturday and $100 on Sunday or $215 for all three nights.
The pit gate opens at 4 p.m. Friday and at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Drivers’ meetings are at 6 p.m. and will be followed by mud-in and racing each night.
Pit passes for adults are $30 a night of $90 for all three nights. Youth 12 and under pit passes are $10 a night or $30 for all three nights. Spectator admission is $15 for adults and free for kids 12 and under.
Race night sponsors are Tirerama and Powder River Power, both of Sheridan, on Friday; McDonald’s of Sheridan on Saturday; and Sheridan Homes on Sunday.
Overnight accommodations are available by calling host hotel Best Western at 307 674-7421 and requesting the racers’ rate. Camping is also available at the track.
