Richardson, Blurton top United Rebel Sprint fields at Bullring Nationals

LaCROSSE, Kan. (July 30-31) – Twenty-one cars checked in for night one of Bullring Nationals competition at Rush County Speedway with the Drive to Zero POWRi United Rebel Sprint Series Presented by Mel Hambelton Ford Racing.  Steven Richardson cashed in on Friday night’s top prize in a tight battle for the top three positions.  Ty Williams and Richardson set the pace for the 25-lap feature. Richardson rushed to the lead with Williams following, both ahead of Jack Potter and Jon Freeman. Adam Gullion moved into the fifth position on lap six. On the ninth circuit, Potter took over the runner-up position while Gullion advanced to fourth.  Just past midway, Williams charged back ahead of Potter to reclaim the second position. One lap later, Potter slowed, allowing Gullion to move into third ahead of Jeremy Huish and Jordan Knight. Bullring Nationals slated for United Rebel Sprint Series

LaCROSSE, Kan. – Competitors with the Drive to Zero POWRI United Rebel Sprint Series presented by Mel Hambelton Ford Racing are preparing for Rush County Speedway’s Bullring Nationals. The United Rebel Sprint Series will be in competition on Friday, July 30 and Saturday, July 31 atop the action-packed bullring located in LaCrosse, Kan. This race is always a favorite amongst drivers and fans as the action is non-stop on the ¼-mile Bullring.  On Friday, July 30, hot laps will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the green flying over competition at 7:30 p.m. General admission is $15 for adults, kids ages 5-10 $5 and kids under five free.  On Saturday, July 31, hot laps are again slated to begin at 6:30 p.m. with racing at 7:30 p.m. IGeneral admission will remain the same for Saturday’s event.  The United Rebel Sprint Series partnered with Kansas’ Drive to Zero program to offer a $5,000 pay day to the 2021 series champion. United Rebel Sprint Series prepares for $1,000 to win events in Central Kansas

OBERLIN, Kan. – The weather has played a major factor in getting the season kicked off for the Drive to Zero POWRi United Rebel Sprint Series Presented by Mel Hambelton Ford Racing. Last weekend’s event was forced to cancel due to damp track conditions. The series looks forward to a doubleheader weekend on tap this Friday, May 21 and Saturday, May 22.   On Friday, drivers head to “The Bullring” of Rush County Speedway in LaCrosse, Kan., to compete for the $1,000 prize. Friday’s event will pay $200 to start the feature event. The “Bullring” is always a favorite stop on the schedule for drivers and fans alike as the racing is always intense on the ¼-mile speedway. Races are slated to begin at 7 p.m.   Saturday will see competitors traveling southeast to 81 Speedway in Park City, Kan. for the United Rebel Sprint Series/Oil Capital Racing Series Showdown presented by Park City.
