Stars Align for Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational at Boone Speedway

UPDATED 8/25, 3:34 p.m. CST By Ben Deatherage BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 20, 2025) —  The best of the best in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified division will gather for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational, one of the premier showcase events of the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s at Boone Speedway. Drivers become eligible for the All-Star Invitational by winning a sanctioned Modified feature event paying a minimum of $1,000 to win. Qualifying for the 2025 edition continues through the final weekend of August, with the full roster of eligible drivers set before race week. The 2025 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 5 at Boone, with starting spots determined through a combination of group time trials, points, and a final draw. 22 more IMCA Modified drivers join Fast Shafts All-Star eligible list

VINTON, Iowa (May 31, 2023) – Another 22 Friesen Performance IMCA Modified drivers have become eligible for Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying, winning $1,000 or more features in the past month. Chris Morris topped the Royal Rumble at I-37 Speedway and Chad May paced Silver Bullet’s 70th anniversary season lidlifter. Central California Clash victors included Timothy Allerdings and Rob Sanders. Anthony Roth bested Boone County’s Return of the Modifieds show while Steven Pfeifer and Kody Scholpp claimed W’s at Estevan Motor Speedway’s Border Challenge. Red Race honors at 141 Speedway went to Mike Mullen. Mitchell Clement and Brenda Kirby both won All Star Shootout features. Salute to Veterans winners at Sweetwater Speedway were Tanner Black and Ricky Alvarado. Jesse Williamson sailed to the Modified Clash checkers at Grays Harbor Raceway. Fast Shafts marks 20th season as IMCA sponsor with record number of awards

DES MOINES, Iowa (April 18, 2022) – Fast Shafts celebrates its 20th season of IMCA sponsorship with awards for another record number of drivers.
