Main event qualifiers in 6 divisions get replica door panels, hoods from Five1seven Designs

BOONE, Iowa – Qualifiers for main events in six divisions competing at the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s take home special souvenirs from the 39th annual event.  Five1seven Designs of Whitney, Texas, gives replica door panels to Modified, Northern SportMod and STARS Mod Lite qualifiers while Stock Car, Hobby Stock and Sport Compact qualifiers all receive replica hoods. Replica door panels measure 10” tall by 23” long while hoods are 16” by 12.”  Awards have been made specific to each division and display the Super Nationals logo along with the word Qualifier. Any of the more than 700 drivers already pre-registered for the 39th annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s who wants a BOONE BOUND promo on the IMCA Facebook page should email an on-track photo of their current IMCA race car to boonebound@imca.com.  High resolution photos work best, a minimum of 2mb or 1,200 pixels wide. Please include your name, division and car number, hometown and photo credit for the photographer with that email. Photo submissions not meeting those guidelines will be ignored. BOONE BOUND photos will be posted on a first come, first serve basis so do it today! “With entries climbing over 700, getting this done is very challenging. Beau knows to be the best, you have to race with the best

Super Nationals Stock Car champion earns Midstate Machine built engine

BOONE, Iowa – Midstate Machine builds the engine that goes home with the Stock Car champion crowned at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Ca­sey’s. IMCA and event sponsors will contribute parts. Midstate Machine of Des Moines again donates the labor to award to the winner of the Sept. 11 main event at Boone Speedway. “It’s cool that they get an engine,” said Midstate’s John Davis. “We’re glad to be part of this.”  Contributing parts are Speedway Motors, EQ Cylinder Heads, Edelbrock, Kevko, JE Pistons, Champ Pans, Summit, Comp Cams, Manley and PBM. Missouri transplant Cochrun eyes STARS Mod Lite debut at IMCA Super Nationals

RIDGEWAY, Mo. – As a spectator at Boone Speedway last September, Kaden Cochrun watched other drivers compete on IMCA’s biggest stage. As a first-time competitor this year, he hopes to be standing on the stage at the 39th annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.  The California native and now Ridgeway, Mo., transplant will be among the contenders for the first-ever IMCA STARS Mod Lite championship at Super Nationals.  “I already know how big this race is. $8,000 in cash bonuses, lap money added to purse for Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa – Drivers competing at the 39th annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s take home more than $8,000 in cash bonuses and lap money. Local businesses and IMCA sponsors have anted up bonuses and lap money to be paid during the Sept. 6-11 Super Nationals at Boone Speedway, guaranteed to be the biggest and richest dirt track event of the season.      Quick Performance gives $100 bonuses to the winners of three qualifying features for Hobby Stocks, three qualifying features for Northern SportMods and six Stock Car qualifying features. Each of the six drivers winning Modified qualifying features receive $100 cash bonuses from VIP Medical Concierge and Dr. Robert Baker. Super Nationals Modified, Hobby, SportMod champions earn Karl Kustoms crate engines

BOONE, Iowa – Three of the champions crowned at the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s celebrate their accomplishments with new crate engines.  Karl Kustoms presents a new GM 604 crate engine to the Modified champion and new GM 602 crate engines to Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod champions on Saturday, Sept. 11 in the infield at Boone Speedway. Qualifying format announced for STARS Mod Lites

BOONE, Iowa – STARS Mod Lites will start 30 cars in their $2,000 to win main event at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.  The division makes its Super Nationals qualifying debut on opening night of the Prelude Sept. 4 at Boone Speedway and 10 cars will advance to the inside and to the middle rows through the planned two feature format on Saturday night.  The outside row of 10 cars for the Sunday, Sept. 5 main event will be determined with a format based on car count. Both programs will be draw/redraw and drivers who are unable to compete at Boone Speedway on Saturday have the opportunity to qualify on Sunday.

Fan favorite Thing brings IMCA Modified, social media expertise to Super Nationals

CAMPO, Calif. – Michael Thing Jr. will make the long tow to the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s to do three of the things he enjoys most.  He’ll race an IMCA Modified. Split draw planned for IMCA Super Nationals Modified, Stock, Hobby, SportMod heat races

BOONE, Iowa – Modified, Stock Car, Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod drivers will be guaranteed different starting spots in qualifying heats at the 39th annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.  A computerized split draw system will be used for Hobby Stock and SportMod qualifying Monday, Sept. 6 and Tuesday, Sept. 7 and Modifieds and Stock Cars Wednesday, Sept. 8, Thursday, Sept. 9 and Friday, Sept. 10. “With so many entries coming to Boone Speedway from so many parts of the country, the goal is to ensure that each driver has the opportunity to start a qualifying heat race, or races, from different spots on the grid,” explained IMCA President Brett Root. “With this split draw system, drivers are guaranteed a chance to start in the front half of a heat race.
