
Cardinal’s Kelly Sheen Memorial guarantees big paydays in four IMCA divisions
EUNICE, N.M. (June 26) – Four IMCA divisions take their turn running for big paydays at Cardinal Speedway’s fifth annual Kelly Sheen Memorial Topless Shootout. Total purse for the Friday and Saturday, July 4 and 5 special is more than $20,000. As the name of the event implies, IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods must remove all body panels above the deck, including the roof, sail panels and pillar posts. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $3,000 to win, Modifieds for $2,000, SportMods for $1,500 and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $500. A sponsor added $2,300 to the Stock Car purse so that feature now pays $1,500 for second, $1,000 for third, $800 for fourth, $500 for fifth, $250 for sixth, $200 for seventh, $150 for eighth, $125 for ninth and a minimum of $100 to start.
