Eagle Motorsports boosts awards program for IMCA RaceSaver Sprints

LINCOLN, Neb. – The growing number of sanctions is reflected in an expanded Eagle Motorsports awards program for IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars this season. In its third year as title sponsor for the division, the Lincoln, Neb., sprint car chassis manufacturer and high performance parts retailer will give $100 gift cards to every IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car track and special series champion. Weekly sanctioned tracks for 2015 are located in Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota and Texas. New promoter adding to, checking off his to-do list at Boone County Raceway

ALBION, Neb. – Ron Sutton has been busy adding to and checking off the to-do list since taking over as promoter at Boone County Raceway. Five IMCA divisions are on Friday night programs at Albion. Opening night at the 3/8-mile clay oval is April 24. “We’re putting up a new catch fence off turns three and four. We won’t be adding dirt to the racing surface but we want to reshape the corners,” said Sutton, who raced in both the Stock Car and Late Model classes before helping with track prep at Boone County. “We’re going to remove the infield tires and replace them with a dirt berm.” IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds return to Albion for a 21st consecutive season in 2015. PASSCAR opens 20th season Saturday at Perris Auto Speedway

PERRIS, Calif. – After a successful 20th anniversary season opener for sprint cars at Perris Auto Speedway last Saturday night, the Riverside County clay oval will kick off the 20th anniversary PASSCAR season this Saturday, March 14. Saturday’s show will feature Super Stocks, Street Stocks, American Factory Stocks and the highly anticipated return of the IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds. Saturday’s race will be the first IMCA sanctioned Modified race at The PAS since 2005. Since 2007, the track started sanctioning the class under the PASSCAR banner. At the urging of racers, sanctioning for the division is reverting back to IMCA in 2015. Mohave Valley wins helping Parmeley set early pace in race for IMCA rookie awards
