$1,000 to win IMCA Modified feature headlines rich Murray County Fair show

SLAYTON, Minn. – More money is on the line for all four IMCA divisions running next Friday, Aug. 14 at Murray County Speedway.

The county fair program pays the Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified winner $1,000 and is a 2016 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying event.

Bonuses of $500 for the Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod winner and $250 for the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock winner will be given by Sturdevant’s Auto Supply of Slayton. The IMCA Sunoco Stock Car winner also earns a $250 bonus.

Top four finishers in the Hobby Stock feature also will be entered in a drawing for an additional $500.

All applicable IMCA points will be awarded. The Modified portion of the program is draw/redraw. Completing the card are the MCRA compacts and pickups.

Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 7:15 p.m. with racing to follow.

Grandstand admission is $13 for adults, $8 for kids 11-15 and free for 10 and under. Pit passes are $26. There is no entry fee or charge for car registration.
