Abilene ups ante for IMCA Stock Cars, Friday Ice Breaker pays $3,000 to win

ABILENE, Texas – When they say everything is bigger in Texas, what they’re talking about now are IMCA Sunoco Stock Car paydays at Abilene Speedway’s Ice Breaker. The winner of the Friday, Feb. 19 feature takes home a hefty $3,000 paycheck while the Saturday, Feb. 20 headliner, on the first night of the Sniper Speed Lone Star Tour, pays $1,000, with an additional $1,000 loyalty bonus added specifically for that event. “Winning the Ice Breaker is a career highlight for any IMCA driver. Guaranteed to be legendary, Superstition Showdown finale pays $5,000 to IMCA Modified winner

SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. – Legend says there’s a lost fortune in gold in Arizona’s Superstition Mountains. One IMCA Modified driver will become legendary by winning $5,000 on the final night of Arizona Speedway’s Superstition Showdown Sunday, Feb. 14. Gaylord, Skyberg up to IMCA Modified challenges at Canyon

PEORIA, Ariz. (Jan. 30-31) – Tripp Gaylord and Casey Skyberg proved up to the challenge in winning Winter Series Challenge features for IMCA Modifieds at Canyon Speedway AZ. Gaylord led the last 20 circuits in topping the Saturday event while Skyberg paced Sunday’s show from green to checkered. Both pocketed $1,000 and each later compared Canyon favorably to a track closer to their respective homes, I-76 Speedway in Fort Morgan, Colo. Runner-up in the Saturday IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature, Gaylord more than made up for the DNF four years ago that resulted from his one previous Modified outing at Canyon. IMCA sponsors quick to add awards for STARS Mod Lite drivers

VINTON, Iowa – IMCA STARS Mod Lite drivers will enjoy contingency support from more than a dozen sponsors in 2021, with a wealth of post-season awards given as well.
