SANTA PAULA, Calif. – Drivers in the newest IMCA division receive post-season prizes from JAZ Products, with the addition of STARS Mod Lite competitors to the slate of awards from the Santa Paula, Calif., manufacturer.
Recipients of the more than $15,000 in product certificates given by the 26-year IMCA sponsor in 2021 will be determined by national or regional point standings.
“JAZ Products is proud to be a continued supporter of IMCA racers over the past 25 years and is happy to offer contingency awards to show appreciation for their efforts going on our 26th year now,” said Sales Manager Bradley Jewett. “JAZ would like to wish the racers the best of luck in the 2021 racing season and to welcome the new division of STARS Mod Lite racers.”
Certificates in increments of $500, $300, $200, $100 and $75 go to the top five drivers in point standings in each of the five IMCA Modified regions, and to top five drivers in national standings for the IMCA Sunoco Late Models, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods, Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods and Mach-1 Sport Compacts, as well as the STARS Mod Lites.
All certificates will be presented during the IMCA national banquet in November or mailed from the IMCA home office beginning the following week.
JAZ returns to the national decal program for Modifieds and drivers in that division must display two JAZ logos on their race car to be eligible for either point fund shares or product certificate awards.
The Modified champion crowned at Super Nationals receives a $500 product certificate, with Late Model, Stock Car, Hobby Stock, Northern SportMod and Sport Compact champions, and the champion of the RaceSaver Nationals all getting $100 certificates.

“JAZ Products is another in a growing list of IMCA sponsors eager to support the efforts of the newest IMCA sanctioned division,” noted Kevin Yoder, director of marketing for IMCA. “Mod Lite drivers will see the benefits of JAZ’s involvement like so many other IMCA drivers have for almost 30 years.”
