Boone Frostbuster wins to Ward, Kuehl, Murty, Smith

By Joyce Eisele BOONE, Iowa (April 9, 2022) – Four drivers wrote their names into the history books with IMCA Frostbuster wins Saturday at Boone Speedway. One hundred and ninety cars took to Iowa’s Action Track and checkers flew for Tim Ward in the IMCA Modifieds, Taylor Kuehl in the IMCA Northern SportMods and a couple 2021 Super Nationals champions, Dallon Murty in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Mike Smith in the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks. Forty-three ground-pounding Modifieds were on hand and it was defending IMCA national champion Jeff Larson leading the opening laps. By lap 11, however, Ward had grabbed the top spot.   Ward, already Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligible, never relinquished his lead as he motored home to the win. Jeremy Mills had to be content with second. Third went to Larson, Devin Fouquette was fourth and Johnathon Logue, in his Modified debut, rounded out the top five. Batesville reschedules IMCA weekly show to Sunday afternoon

BATESVILLE, Ark. (April 8, 2022) – Races for tonight (Friday, April 8) at Batesville Motor Speedway have been re-scheduled for Sunday, April 10 at 2 p.m. due to the wet ground conditions and the extremely cold temperatures.  Pit gates will Sunday at noon and the grandstands will open at 1 p.m. The awards ceremony for the 2021 drivers will take place in victory race and races will follow at 2 p.m. with IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars on the afternoon card.  IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional, KMJ Performance State and track points will be awarded in both IMCA divisions. Spectator admission is only $20 per carload.

Penfold makes good on youthful vow to own, promote Oregon’s Willamette Speedway

Dacotah Speedway gears up for 2022 season

BOONE, Iowa (April 6, 2022) – Forecasts are promising for Frostbuster specials this weekend at Boone Speedway and Stuart Speedway. IMCA Modifieds race for $1,000 to win along with Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility while IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $500 to win, IMCA Northern SportMods for $400 to win and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $250 to win Saturday, April 9 at Boone and Sunday, April 10 at Stuart.
